1.00While I traveled with a group, I booked the tour on Dec12 for a visit on Dec13 with Viator, only for myself. Contacted the tour operator via whatsapp messaging the evening prior to the tour to confirm it. The pick up hour was confirmed and set at 4h30 in the morning in front of an hotel nearby to my location in Medellin. I arrived shortly before and see no bus. Send the operator a whatsapp message at ~ 5AM without any message back. I stayed till 5.30AM. I went back to my hotel to catch up some sleep. At 11AM, after a few hours sleep, I ask for help with one of my party member better at spanish than I am. Note that, at this point, there is no excuse/explanation message whatsoever from the tour operator. We phone and ask for a refund. A messenger arrives later with some money but he's short of the full refund. We had to show him the reservation, he phones the operator back and confirms the "error". He went back and we get the leftover money at 1PM. Summary: no tour, no excuse nor decent explanation offered till we ask for it, we had to actively ask for the full refund twice. At best this was a lame operation, at worst it's dishonest.
