I recommend the tour: “Turin: Royal Palace guided experience”. The palace is large, so we were grateful to have a guide pace us through the palace rooms, armory, and Chapel. Our guide was deeply knowledgeable about Turin history and about the palace itself. He shared interesting information about the building itself, the statues, artwork, and use of palace rooms. We learned fun facts such as the reason some of the wine glasses on the formal dining table are pink, and why the horse statues in the armory look so real. If you go, plan to spend some time after the tour to enjoy the Savoy gallery of art masterpieces, which is included in the royal palace ticket.

I went to Turin when it was raining. I had to stay out in the rain for an hour until my tour was able to start. It was worth every penny. Plan this tour, because it was well worth it.
