Twin Glacier Fox Glacier and Franz Josef Glacier including snow landing (allow 30 minutes)

This flight gives you the opportunity to discover the scenic wonders of both the Fox and Franz Josef Glacier's. With departures available from Franz Josef or Fox (separate schedules), you will be amazed by the wonderful blue ice of these two beauties as you soar across the snow covered pinnacles onto the snowfields of the Fox or Franz Josef glacier. These catchment areas, or Neve's, accumulate years of Winter snow which over time descends into the lower valley's as the Fox and Franz Josef glaciers.

Must do activity in Franz Joseph, can’t recommend highly enough. They slipped us in a day early due to poor weather forecast the next day.

The tour operator's did their best to keep us informed on a very cloudy morning as to what a delay may mean. We did get to fly and I would say it was our BEST NZ experience. We had a great and competent chopper pilot who made the whole experience pleasurable. I would highly recommend this tour.

Well worth doing. Amazing views of the coast, mountains and Fox and Franz Josef glaciers. Landing above the Fox Glacier topped it off. We were fortunate to have excellent weather, not a cloud in the sky

We were very well received by fine staff. We received good and clear explanations in a friendly way. We were very lucky with the weather. But this has not affected our assessment. All in all a super experience. Also doable with children. Ours were 4 and 7 at the time.
