Visit Prambanan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia. Discover its ancient architecture as you walk through temples dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. Explore on your own or hire a local guide on-site (optional).
Afterward, enjoy the Ramayana Ballet, a spectacular performance of Javanese dance and music that tells the tale of Prince Rama. The show is held outdoors at Prambanan or indoors in Yogyakarta, depending on day and weather.
Your ballet ticket will be reserved (you pay later). Temple ticket is purchased directly on-site.
Performance Schedule:
At Prambanan (Outdoor/Indoor):
1. Ramayana: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
2. Roro Jonggrang: Friday
In Yogyakarta City (Indoor):
1. Ramayana: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
2. Roro Jonggrang: Sunday
On Mondays, the main temple zone is closed, but the outer grounds remain accessible. You may also visit Sewu Temple that stays open on Mondays, or Plaosan Temple as another solution.

On Mondays, the main Prambanan area is closed (visitors can only view from the outer grounds), but Candi Sewu, a nearby Buddhist temple, remains opeen. Plaosan Temple can be another solution.

5.00The performance is very impressive. The setting is beautiful. The tour guide is great, but there is an additional cost to enter the temple and the performance. If you buy Class 1 or Class 2 seats for the ballet, bring your own cushions.

5.00We were truly Blessed to be able to see Prambanan Temple, and watch the Ramayana Ballet. A tour of histiry religion and culture. Our guide Wahyu was awesome. The youngster guided us and helped us all the way. He snswered with patience hundreds of our questions.

5.00Wahyu was an exceptional tour guide! He is a super conversationalist, engages his guests and shows real interest in their back story. Wahyu was helpful and attentive during our activities. He made sure we had everything we needed, willingly changed pick-up times to accommodate us and helped arrange tickets beforehand. We loved our experience with Wahyu and if we ever find ourselves in Jogja again, we’ll be sure to seek Wahyu out!

5.00The driver/guide Iskandar was very knowledgeable and made the process very smooth. The temples at Prambanan park were amazing (especially Prambanan and Sewu), and we had a really good dinner at a nearby restaurant before the Ramayana show. The backdrop of the show were the temples at night.
Horrible and rude driver whodid notpick k us up.

1.00The driver never came. We arenow taking another taxi after wating for 10 min. Pls make sure we get a full refund. We need to be at Prambanan in time to see the templeand the sunset.
