Include lunch (June-August). Get out of the city and explore the nature surrounding Valencia on a day trip to the village of Montanejos. Bathe in natural hot springs and discover waterfalls; these waters are warm year-round. The hot springs are reminiscent of Thailand.
We'll take a private shuttle from Valencia to Montanejos and head directly to the natural hot spring. Before soaking, I'll tell you about the area, and then relax your muscles with a swim in these warm pools.
We'll take a fairly easy hiking route to explore some trenches from the Spanish Civil War. You'll learn the history of these trenches and the Civil War, and from there, we'll go to a viewpoint with spectacular views known only to our local guides (hiking trail 30 min.).
You'll visit the majestic Girlfriend waterfall, where you can bathe in summer (it's located in a different location from the hot springs).
In summer, the hiking trail may be canceled due to the risk of heat exhaustion.
The tour will depart with a minimum of two people. A small, family-friendly, and exclusive group. There will be one guide for every 8 people, offering personalized attention and 5-star service, maximum of 24 people.

We will see this majestic waterfall where you can swim in summer (it is not thermal here), it is a different place from the thermal springs.

From the waterfall we will go to the Montanejos thermal springs and it takes 35 minutes by transport.

5.00We traveled in July 2025 to Valencia, and the excursion to the thermal springs is a must see. From the start Ivan, our tour guide from Batwalking.com was really hospitable and eager to make us comfortable. The pick up point is really easy to find, it was by the stadium for us. I messaged the company via WhatsApp the night before as I had a question and they got back to me straight away. They also WhatsApp me in the morning to check I was okay getting to the mini bus. Ivan was great in introducing the group and making us all friends for the day. We travelled to the thermal springs and the waterfalls and there was lots of energy. The springs and waterfalls are incredible and a must see if you are in Valencia. The mountains are quite an awesome experience. The lunch was good, we were offered a selection of sandwiches and a drink. We were also offered bottles of cold water. When we swam, the hosts kindly offered to watch our belongings. I wasn’t sure whether to go for the cheaper shorter tour or the more expensive full day tour with food - in really glad I went for the full day tour. I had read a review which said that there are too many tourists. I went on a Thursday and it was absolutely fine. Again I would really recommend Ivan and the company Batwalking.com. They were really eager to please.
