Sample the most delicious tapas and drinks Valencia has to offer. A unique and fabulous way to eat, drink, and feel like a local in this wonderful Mediterranean city that you would not be able to experience on your own. Locals in Valencia meet up for a “picaeta”, a word that comes from the verb “picar”, which means to eat small bites of different dishes that everyone shares. And that’s exactly what you will be doing: we will visit some of the city’s best hidden gastronomic gems for a full dinner, where we will share authentic, traditional tapas and drinks in the best company. This dynamic and fun tapas crawl has four stops, all of them unique and charming in their own way. Away from touristy areas, each stop will showcase the best and tastiest tapas and dishes, like delicious “esgarraet” or “cocas”, ham or seafood croquettes paired with Valencia’s wide array of awarded wines and local drinks like “mistela”, all while you learn about the city’s culture and laid-back way of life from our experienced, passionate guides, who will help you experience all of this through the eyes of a local.

3.00I signed up for this tour as a solo traveler and I had an okay time. First, the food itself was amazing and I definitely left very full!! As far as value goes, i definitely ate the price in food. I liked that this tour selected local restaurants and less touristy locations. However, the actual tour aspect was lacking. Our guide was very sweet but she seemed shy and not overly enthusiastic about the tour. As a result, the group dynamic was very split and most people just kept to those they came with - something not ideal as a solo traveler. Additionally, there was no historical or cultural background being shared for any of the dishes or locations or places we passed. I left the tour not really knowing what we had eaten or what places we went to. Overall it was decent but I was far from wowed.

5.00Really great walking tour of tapas and spirits tour in central Valencia. Absolutely as advertised and a very friendly guide in Andrea, a well-traveled but locally-based university professor. We got to know the area and learned about local foods, wines, vermouth and traditions.

5.00Really fun experience. Visited 4 different places, all of which we’d have walked past, but each serving delicious vermouth, wines and good. Andreas was an excellent host for the trip, knowledgeable about the place, food and drinks as well as justifiably proud of Valencia. Great fun experience too.

5.00Victor was a great guide, really enjoyed the tour and we sampled some v tasty snacks and drinks! Very relaxed atmosphere and he was very open to chatting and answering lots of our (probably annoying!) questions about the city :-) Very good value for money too, we were very well fed and watered!
