We enjoyed this tour with our guide Elena. She was very knowledgeable and fun. The Gondola ride was also great since we rode with the same group that we had toured with.

If you are a first timer to Venice, as we were, someone needs to explain that your Uber or taxi driver can’t take you to the tour office. They need to be told to take the water bus or water taxi. There are no vehicles allowed in Venice proper and it was VERY confusing to get around (and were pretty seasoned travelers). We found many others walking around as confused as we were, even with our GPS!!! We arrived at the tour office almost 2 hours late after walking over 5 miles trying to find it and after giving ourselves what we thought should have been ample time to get there 20-30 minutes early! WE MISSED THE TOUR!! The tour company could not give us a refund because we didn’t pay them. We were able to catch the gondola ride which was the last thing on the tour! The tour company tried to appease us by giving us vouchers we could use for self tours but there was not enough time for us to attempt this with the limited time we had and the tremendous lines at each location. We were leaving Venice the next morning! The gondola ride was excellent but did not warrant what we paid for the total tour.

The headphones were brutal to wear and there were continued issues hearing the guide. It was supposed to be an English speaking tour. Unfortunately English was not the guides first language and they were very difficult to understand. I wouldn’t recommend.

Well organized and very informative. I enjoyed the tour but it was a bit long. The tour guide had a thick accent so it was a bit difficult to understand her at times.

I have enjoyed the Viator tours I’ve taken. The guide was informative but I felt it was very dry. She told lots of stories about the doges and other people in the paintings, but she never told us anyone’s name. While I am not an authority on Italian history. I am a little bit familiar. The earbuds we used were uncomfortable in too loose. We traveled with six other companions and the general consensus is that we spent a lot of time standing around.
