During this private guided tour we will go from Lugano (the starting point is in Via Nassa downtown of Lugano) to Verzasca Valley (one hour trip) to see Verzasca river in this part of Switzerland, the colour of the water of this river is fantastic, the river is considered the Seychelles of Switzerland. During the guided tour, you will see Swiss typical villages along the river then we will stop at Verzasca old bridge where we will go walking to the riverside. We will proceed to the end of the valley to a little swiss town to see a big waterfall. This is a private guided tour for your group only or only for you if you are a single tourist. The amount you pay is the same regardless if you are a single tourist or four people.

Giorgio was a wonderfully humorous and knowledgeable host. He treated us like old friends he was sharing the countryside with. He happily shared the historical and socio-political contexts of this region. He even purchased a local wine for us! I’d happily recommend him to anyone and am sad that we can’t go on more of his offered tours!

Really attractive - park further up the valley, hand over your ransom for three hours, then go and enjoy the bridge, water, and village.

The scenery was beautiful! We loved seeing villages and churches built in the 1500-1600s that were still going strong today. The waterfalls were gorgeous and our guide was very knowledgeable!

My husband and I had such a great experience on this tour with Giorgio! He was very accommodating in picking us up from our hotel as we weren’t staying in Lugano. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable, and he seemed to have a passion for helping people explore another culture. The description just says walking to the river and visiting the waterfall, but dress accordingly for that. Maybe don’t wear a skirt or dress due to the walk to both of those. Other than that, anything works as the rest of the tour is in a car or walking around various towns and villages. The views are beautiful and the history is fascinating!

Giorgio is fantastic! I had an amazing time during our tour! He is very knowledgeable about the area and kept the entire tour very entertaining! As a solo traveller, it was great having him take me to all these spots with ease! 10/10 would book again!
