Five Star Whale Watching
Check-in procedures will follow at our office meeting location. Afterwards, the vessel departs from a nearby dock. The route reflects recent wildlife activity, and your experienced marine guide/ Captain will steer for the best places to see animals! During the 3 hour Ultimate Marine Whale and Wildlife Tour, we will travel through the waters of the Salish Sea in search of various whales & other marine life. The Salish Sea includes the local waters around Southern Vancouver Island and is a rich marine environment that attracts multiple species of whales and other marine life! Keep your camera ready, watching for orcas (killer whales), humpback whales, minke whales, gray whales, dolphins as well as both Dall’s porpoises and harbor porpoises. Harbour seals, Steller sea lions and California sea lions can be seen off Vancouver Island, and more than 127 species of marine birds can also be seen in the region.

5.00What a fantastic day we had! A small group so no crowding or fighting for a good spot on the boat. Unfortunately we didn't see any Orca's but we saw Humpbacks and one swam right past our boat. Can't beat that 😊 Highly recommend this tour 👍

4.00We saw orcas, humpback whales, and two types of sea lions. Comentary was good but the girls should have a mic cause they were hard to hear. There is walking and stairs involved before and after boarding, which were difficult because we have mobility issues. Overall, worth the money.

5.00One of the best tours I’ve ever gone on. Love that it was a small group. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable about the areas and all the animals we saw. If I’m ever back in Victoria or know of anyone visiting Victoria, I am definitely going to recommend this tour.

5.00The two leaders/naturalists on board were SO good. I think their names were Rain and Alexa - they were so knowledgeable and thoughtful and easy to understand. Really a couple of great guides. We saw 3 whales and it was a wonderful experience!

2.00We were delayed an hour getting started due to the ship having its "hull cleaned"... when we did finally take off, we spent 30 minutes zig-zagging through the marina before the captain went down with a wrench to work on the motors. I don't think we ever did get to full speed. The 2 naturalists on board were very new, they shared that we would not see Orca's as it is illegal?? We did get to see some humpbacks, which was great... but the ship's condition and the guides left a lot to be desired. There are other options available that we have sailed with in the past that would be better.

5.00Unfortunately due to technical issues they had to change us to another provider, everything was quickly taken care of for as though. We had a fantastic trip and seen many humpback whales.
