Whale sharks are massive, yet incredibly gentle. Most of the individuals we see here are juveniles, but even at this young stage, they’re already between 4 and 9 meters long, impressive to see up close.

Embark on an unforgettable whale shark swimming experience in a small group (4 to 12 people). Only 5 participants will be in the water at once, swimming for a maximum of 30 minutes with each whale shark. Our expert guide will be by your side, ensuring a fantastic experience without disturbing these incredible creatures. The 2 hour adventure offers multiple opportunities to swim with different whale sharks. If you prefer, you can also enjoy the view from the boat. Plus, keep an eye out for dolphins encounters with these playful creatures are common. Light snack and water are included for a relaxed and enjoyable excursion. IMPORTANT TO READ : Whale shark authority regulates the activity by allowing 4 times slot (7 am, 9 am, 11 am and 1 pm), and in each time slot, only a certain number of boats are allowed. We are only allowed to ask for our time slot a day prior to the trip. That means that there is a possibility that we don't get the 9 am time slot. In this case, tour operator will contact you a day prior to the trip and offer the possibility to get on an earlier or later time slot. This is why it is important to check your email, SMS and WhatsApp message the day before the trip.

5.00We could not see the whale shark, because very few had reached the sea of cuts. But the tour manager super friendly and looking for other alternatives to enjoy the tour, we were very tight snorkeling for a very good time, and the fish ceviche we ate on the beach was requisitionism. Thank you.

5.00We had an amazing experience with a super knowledgeable, crew and captain. They got us into the whale sharks after a good thorough briefing. I would sure use these guys again. Hamza is succeeding in a very complicated regulatory environment to protect whale sharks.

5.00It was an unforgettable experience!! The treatment of Hazdam and his team was outstanding. They were attentive and guided us throughout the trip. Before the trip Hazdam communicated with us and was attentive until the end. Captain Julio and the biologist Pablo made every effort to find the sharks. There were only 8 in the whole area!!!. It was an unforgettable experience

5.00This was a special tour, because I was celebrating my 80th birthday. My son and I had to reschedule due to too much wind, but it worked out better. The guides were perfect and the water so clear for snorkeling. We were so close to the whale shark and tried to follow it but not for long, because it was pretty fast. It was a wonderful, unforgettable experience, not to be missed.

5.00One of the best tour experiences of my life. Booking the trip was so easy. Hamza went above and beyond, he chose the day for us based on the weather and it was perfect. The captain and guide on the boat were awesome. Our guide was very knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure we all got to spend time with these awesome animals. We saw several whale sharks and were each able to spend a good amount of time with them while still being very respectful of their space. We even got some videos they took of us swimming with the whale sharks! When I come back to Baja I will be booking with Baja Wild Adventures again. 10/10 service, 10/10 value 10/10 day. 5.00This was an incredible experience! From the beginning, Hamzah, was communicative about what to expect in the experience. He is a marine biologist and answered all my questions about the marine life of La Paz Bay. Our group was small, three plus our marine biologist guide and the captain. The weather was challenging as it was an overcast morning with a bit of wind. In spite of this, the captain was persistent in finding the whale sharks and we were able to get in the water with three whale sharks at different points of the trip. I really recommend going on a tour with a small number of people as you are able to spend more time in the water as it is limited re the number of people who can be in the water at any one time. Isaac, the marine biologist, offered great education about the whale sharks and their lifespan. Hamzah, the tour operator, also a marine biologist, was very helpful and provided great information about the marine life of La Paz Bay. He was so helpful and wanted to ensure I had a great experience while in La Paz, offering recs for restaurants and taco stands. Definitely do this experience!

The communication with Hamza during the scheduling and booking process was prompt and thorough, greeting on the morning of the activity was pleasant and the expectations of the activity were clearly stated, and our guide Pablo was engaging and informative. The team took great care and attention to deliver a memorable experience, seeing and swimming with several different whale sharks. Our group of 3 adults absolutely recommends this tour operator and we will book with them again in the future!
