Snorkeling with the whale shark is a wonderful experience that we have very close to in the City of La Paz. Our boat is very comfortable and perfectly equipped for this activity.

5.00They were great in communicating in advance about weather issues cancelling the boats for my booking. Got me on board the next day when they received the green light. The guide was fluent in English and Spanish for the mixed set of guests. Very clear, informative, and humorous. After the first whale swam too fast for us to keep up with, we found another that slowly circled and fed. It was right there amongst us, often close enough to touch despite us trying to give it room. I got to jump in a few times as we rotated the two groups and a couple of folks declined going in further. It was also cool to watch it from the boat as it was very near and right at the surface.

5.00This is an amazing tour. It’s important to be a fairly decent swimmer. This company is top notch and tour guides are great.

5.00We had a blast! Things to know: 1. Wet suits are not included but can be rented for $9 each. 2. Make sure to use their dive fins. I tried using my own snorkeling fins because they were almost out of fins my size and they were not sufficient to keep up with everyone else. 3. If you are not a strong swimmer, this probably isn't for you. You must swim fast to keep up with the whale sharks, but even a glimpse is worth it, they are absolutely stunning.

5.00This was such an excellent experience! The crew taught everything in English and Spanish so we all knew what was happening. Overall, we had about 30 minutes in the water close to the whale shark. We always felt super safe and taken care of. Thanks for the great learning experience!!

1.00We booked a tour for our family while we were supposed to be in LaPaz on a Carnival Cruise. But a few weeks before departure, Carnival cancelled the cruise because their ship needed major emergency repairs. This company would only refund part of the fees that we had paid. So, be aware that once you pay them, and you end up not being able to go, they will keep at least a portion of your payment(s)

5.00I actually went on the Sea Lions tour but it wasn't listed as an option. The boat was packed but the staff handed everything perfectly and the tour was a blast. David had tons of interesting info about the islands. We got close to the sea lions but not too close. They take you to Espiritu Sancto island for a lunch and some time on the beach. Really great tour that's run really well.

5.00Alonso Tours was a 5 Star experience - from the team at the dock to our guide and operator. Had a great day touring Espiritu Island and snorkeling with the sea lions. Lunch was delicious - ceviche and sandwhiches on a beautiful beach. Definitely recommend !

5.00Little duck was solid and his English was great too. We went and saw a whale shark and got pretty close. Heavy winds made a big swell but it was still a great time.
