This whale watching experience is built around comfort, calm, and closeness to the whales. You depart from San Jose del Cabo aboard a new, stable, and comfortable boat designed to spend time on the water without feeling rushed or crowded. The ride is smooth, the layout is open, and you can move easily as whales surface around you. Along the East Cape, humpback whales appear naturally, breathing close by, lifting their tails, and sometimes breaching without warning. The guide follows their rhythm, slowing down and giving space so behavior unfolds on its own. You are not fixed to a seat or locked into a route. You stay present, comfortable, and focused on the moment, letting the encounter develop quietly and naturally.

We had a great trip with our guide and boat captain. Perfect weather and we saw a lot of whales surfacing and then a few dolphins swam along our boat. I also made a last minute request to change the day of our trip and they accommodated it with ease. Really enjoyed the experience.

We had a spectacular day with Captain Jose in our Guide Francesco! They were awesome. This was a highlight of our trip to Cabo.!! there’s not enough space to say all the good things about these two gentlemen. And we saw so many whales.!!! We highly recommend dip, expeditions, and Jose and Francesco!

Five Stars is not enough. We saw so many whales yesterday. Last year, we took a 45 min Uber ride to Cabo San Lucas for Whale Watching and had a great time. Including pics with the Arch as a backdrop. It was great. But have to say that an under 10 min ride from Secrets resort and just two of us on boat (instead of 22) was incredible! The Babies breached over and over. Incredible!!! We also got to see several squadrons of Rays and even sea lions around the marina. An incredible adventure which was made even better by the phenomenal captain and tour guide. Thank you!!! **This is the ONE you want if you’re staying near San Jose del Cabo.

We had a wonderful time, thank he trip is very safe, with a very small group. For the first time, I’ve managed to see whales and we had tried 3 times previously in other locations. Highly recommend it!

Amazing experience. This is our second experience with the Dip and both times exceeded expectations. This time around we had so many whale sightings there were actually several breaching next to our boat. Later on we saw jumping devil rays which is a truly wild thing to observe. Truly spiritual experience with marine life. The pilot and guide know everything about marine biology and answered all our questions confidently. It was exhilarating and rewarding but a bumpy ride so take your seasickness meds. Wear a hat and sunscreen. Dont go elsewhere - the dip are straight shooters with fair pricing. They always spot something exciting! Thx Fran and Matt!

We were greeted by multiple curious whales within the first hour of our trip. The snorkeling was great, the boat ride was fun, and the crew was friendly, professional, and brought some tasty burritos.

We’ve had an amazing time and got to see 3 whales close by. Beautiful small group trip along the coast. Very friendly guides that made us feel safe the whole time.

This has been the best trip of my life in terms of whale watching. We had three whales not more than 5 yards from us come up on the boat and make loud sounds and awe us all. Amazing. Once in a lifetime.
