    I had a very enjoyable time of white water rafting on the Mae Taeng River near Chiang Mai. The rapids were fun and exciting, providing just the right amount of thrill without being overwhelming. Our guide, Tommy, was excellent—friendly, professional, and funny. The entire team was help and took very professional photos! A memorable part of the trip was the scenic float between rapids. We were pleasantly surprised to see several elephants along the riverbanks. It was a special treat to observe them bathing and eating near the water. It felt like an authentic and respectful glimpse of local wildlife. The provided lunch was tasty, and the pickup and drop-off from my hotel were prompt and comfortable. I was back around 4 pm.
