With our high-end quality equipment and training, be assured you are in very capable hands. We will teach you paddling skills and show you how to negotiate your way down the river safely. With a few raft games and challenges along the way, this experience will not disappoint. Be ready to hold on tight as we bounce through the whitewater waves, surf holes, and maybe even introduce you to a raft flip or two, safely of course. You will have fun and thrills and with our guides at the helm, it can not be any other way, we'll see you there.

You'll meet us at our Bearded Men Adventures Hub, here we will provide all the equipment you'll need for your rafting adventure. This includes a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. You'll then use our changing rooms to wriggle into your wetsuit and once everyone is ready we'll pile you onto our buses and take you to the top of the famous Horseshoe Falls to start your White Water Rafting extravaganza. Before we get on the water you will be given a full safety brief and instructions on how to paddle your raft down the epic rapids on the river Dee, do not worry you will not be on your own, your guide will stay in your raft for the duration of your trip. Get wet and wild with Bearded Men Adventures!

5.00Three mature Liverpool ladies decided it was a good idea to try white water rafting for the first time… and honestly we had the time of our lives! 🌊😂 Massive shout-out to our guides Sol and Jack who were brilliant. Their instructions were super clear (which is exactly what you need when three women are screaming and paddling in completely different directions!). They made us feel totally safe but still gave us the full thrilling experience. The whole thing was organised perfectly and the atmosphere was great from the start. Plenty of laughs, a few screams, and a lot of “are we actually doing this?!” moments. We had an absolute ball and would 100% do it again. If three Liverpool ladies of a certain age can survive it and come out wanting another go, anyone can! 😄 Thanks again Sol and Jack — we’ll definitely be back.

5.00Great team with a sense of humour and happy in their work! We were well looked after, I had my none year old son in our raft but our guide Mike, was really reassuring and extremely cognisant in terms of balancing fun with safety.

5.00A 30 th birthday treat for my son. A great family activity. Dan and Sol are amazing! They know their stuff, they know the river so well and everyone felt safe and looked after. They made it such fun ! Thank you so much from all of the Hull family !! Great value for money!!

5.00Brilliant experience. Although I went on my own, I was able to share the experience with like-minded people who added to the exhilaration of the day. Thoroughly recommend the guides and the business for the ease of booking; care of those on the trip to keep us safe; and the overall experience. The water was nice and high too which made it even more exhilarating. The photographer who was also waiting for us at the side of the water provided some fantastic photos which added to the memories of the experience.

5.00Super fun! Cold in November but youre only in for an hour so not too bad. The adrenaline keeps you warm also! Harry was a great guide, funny, personable, and knew his stuff.

5.00We had the BEST time whitewater rafting in Llangollen! Our instructor Alex made sure we all knew what we were doing and kept us safe while still making sure we had a wild time on the water! Such great fun would 100% recommend!

5.00An exhilarating and fun experience! We had a raft for four of us - all aged 50-68 - with a great 'Bearded Man Crew' Sol! He was thorough when going through the health and safety and made the trip down the river exciting, fun and very wet!!!! I screamed, I shut my eyes and I laughed all the way down! Can highly recommend the experience.
