You will explore the historic downtown of Ponta Delgada, visiting venues such as a repurposed 1600's jail, the oldest harbor tavern, a stop with many artisanal liqueurs, gourmet shops, classy bars, and a few surprises.

5.00Incredible wine, delicious food, cheeky tidbits of local history… this tour deserves all five stars (I wish I could give it six). The guides are friendly, humorous, and knowledgeable. The food is fabulous— make sure to arrive with an empty stomach, because you won’t want to leave anything on your plate! Our only regret is not doing this tour sooner into our time in the Azores— our guides had countless suggestions for restaurants, bars, and other local experiences, and I only wish we had more time to do them all before our flight home. Obrigada!

5.00We loved everything about this tour. It was well organized, our tour guide Andre was very knowledgeable, funny and made this tour a great experience and awesome way to end our vacation! And his assistant Fred was awesome too!! Would highly recommend to book it!

5.00Our original daytime food tour was canceled and we rebooked this food and wine tour instead. My sister and I had a wonderful time with our knowledgeable guide. Three fun stops with a lot of wine and food with a great group of people made this a fun tour. All within walking distance of our hotel. A perfect way to spend an evening and tasting all the Sao Miguel has to offer. We had three food stops with multiple wine tasters at each stop. La Tasca, 1001 Wine and Art plus a tasty dessert and surprise Liqueur at our last stop. Good food, good wine and fun times !

5.00This food tour was a great choice. The two guides were very friendly and personable. I booked this for my family who had little exposure to Portuguese cuisine and it was a wonderful opportunity for them to experience a highlighted assortment of food. Our guides explained all courses and dishes to us, as well as the history of the area. My family and I greatly enjoyed the entire experience!
