Join our expert local guides for an unforgettable day exploring the winter scenery of Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland National Park. Our small-group tour includes two scenic hikes, starting with the breathtaking Bastei Bridge in Germany, followed by either the majestic Pravčická Gate (Friday to Sunday) or the magical Tisá Rocks (Monday to Thursday), both locations are known from The Chronicles of Narnia. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a popular local restaurant, offering both traditional Czech and international dishes, paired with Czech beer, mulled wine, soft drink or warm beverage to make your experience even more enjoyable. Vegetarian and special diets are gladly accommodated. Breathtaking views, rich local flavor, and professional guidance, all in one exceptional day. The itinerary of the hike is influenced by the season.

Bastei Bridge

Approx. for one hour and half you will be driven by our comfortable, air-conditioned minivan to the magnificent BASTEI in Saxon Switzerland National Park (this attraction includes the awesome sandstone BASTEI BRIDGE and the ruins of the Neurathen Castle) located high above the Elbe river valley in Germany. The views are spectacular, the air is fresh, and this hike is a nice warm up for the day.

Afterwards our friendly chauffer drives approx. for 35 mins to the second location. It is a refreshing 2 km hike up to either monumental PRAVCICKA GATE/ ARCH or TISÁ WALLS in Bohemian Switzerland National Park . You will walk through either forest which finally opens up at the top a view of the sandstone arch and its surrounding countryside. As a complimantary we are going to offer you warm beverage drink. At the top, there is a FALCON NEST restaurant which is one floor of a "summer retreat" built by one of the Habsburg earl who wanted to enjoy the natural beauty of the region. If this location is closed, we head towards the TISÁ ROCKS, the magnificent sandstone labyrinth of NARNIA LAND, where Chronicals of Narnia has been recorded.

Such a great tour! Informative and spectacular views. The guide and chauffeur are amazing! We even had some homemade Czech cookies as an added treat. DO THIS HIKE you will not be disappointed.

It was an enjoyable trip to the national park. The scenic view was stunning. The arrangement and the pace of the trip were just nice and comfortable for the beginner hiker like me. Our tourguide, Simona, was a lovely person. She was very patient and care about our conditions along the trip. Since we were going for hiking during winter time, she prepared ice cleats for us to make sure we can walk safely on the snow. The lunch provided was nice too. Our driver, Mr Lubos, was friendly too. In overall, it was an amazing trip and we made a right choice. 😊
It's a mandatory plan if you come to Dresden!

We've just had an incredible day with Simona as guide and Lubos as our driver, in the Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland National Parks. Awsome views, must see scenary, delicious lunch, entertaining conversations, highly recommanded trip!

The national park was beautiful especially the whole stretch of the sandstone was spectacular. It was snowing when we were there and it was a white Christmas!! The photos we took appeared professional and beautiful, however the walk up the hill and stairs was challenging with melting ice. I had a fall and my left knee is still hurt after one month. The meal was delicious!! I would strongly recommend this Winterland Tour.

We had an amazing tour with Simona. We highly recommend the Winterland Tour to Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland. It was well organised. We had snacks and tea during the whole tour and lunch at a local restaurant. We really enjoyed it. The view at the sandstone walls is fantastic.

The tour with Simona and Luboš was a magical experience. The countryside and sites are just like a fairytale come to life. And Simona is knowledgeable, passionate and guides with enthusiasm - providing great context to this area. And we also had our own personal photographer for thr day with Simona and Luboš taking photos for us to remember this special day. Luboš was kind and considerate making sure we got everywhere safely. The lunch at the end was incredible! We felt by the end of the day we had made two new Czech friends who were kind enough to show us the magic of their country. Thank you.
