Saxon Switzerland National Park - the first location is the magnificent Bastei in Saxon Switzerland National Park (including the awesome, sandstone Bastei Bridge and the ruins of the Neurathen Castle) located high above the Elbe river valley in Germany. Views are spectacular, air is fresh, and this hike is a warm up for the day.

5.00Wow, what an incredible day in Saxon Switzerland and Bohemia. Started off great with a warm welcome from Simona, and finding out that my husband and I were the only people that day. I have had tour guides cancel for this reason and was very grateful. Zdeněk was our affable driver, and after a quick 40 minute trip we were in Bastei, which was breathtaking, and Simona was so knowledgeable about the history, flora and fauna. Then off to Tisá, CZ (about 50 minutes) for the breathtaking vistas and rock formations at hidden Narnia of Stone Towers and labryinth. Many of the towers resembled things such as elephants, bears, and the aptly named “beheaded Major”. It was very interesting to learn how other see things and what they see in the rock shapes. Simona is awesome and I am glad we could spend so much time chatting and learning. After a 2 hour hike we returned and headed to a delicious lunch and beer which was included with the price of the tour, as were waters and snacks. I am kicking myself for forgetting to take pictures at lunch with these lovely people. After nearly bursting from lunch Zdedněk drove us, safely but quickly back to Dresden. It was a magical day, highly recommended!

5.00Visiting the Saxon Switzerland National Park near Dresden was truly unforgettable. The landscape is absolutely breathtaking, dramatic sandstone cliffs, peaceful forest trails, and panoramic views that look straight out of a painting. Every corner of the park feels like a masterpiece of nature. What made the experience even more special was our wonderful guide, Simona. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of her way to make sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the tour. Her passion for the region and its history made every stop along the way come alive. If you ever visit Dresden, don’t miss the chance to explore this stunning park, and if you can, ask for Simona. She’s truly the best!

5.00The adventure is really exceptional! The guide Simona is very familiar with the area and takes great care of the group. As I am a solo traveler, she has also proactively offered to take pictures of me throughout the tour and she took some of the nicest pictures of me during my 2-week trip in Germany! I really enjoyed the small group experience with flexibility to explore and efficient logistics. I will not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone interested to add a bit of nature to your exploration on top of the rich history and culture in the area.

5.00Thoroughly recommend this trip. Our host had amazing local knowledge and was engaged with our small group all day. Bastei was beautiful and we went pretty early to avoid the crowds. the highlight of the trip was the Pravcicka Brana- a long, challenging walk uphill but so worth the effort to get to the top and see the countryside for miles and the gorgeous arch. The lunch was lovely and local food. We had an entertaining boat ride also along the gorge. Well worth the money as the fee covered all expenses including entrance to the National park, travel and lunch.

5.00This full day spent in the Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland Park was a great experience. Please note that there is hiking on this tour and know that the pain is worth the gain. The views from the Bastei Bridge were awesome. The Pravcicka Brana Arch was an uphill climb but the view of the arch was unsurpassed and cannot be described in words. Simona and Zdenek make a fantastic team! We had an older couple on our tour that could not do the hiking and Simona went out of her way to accommodate that couple. I cannot recommend Go2Bohemia and Simona enough! This was an awesome tour that was very enjoyable.

5.00We had a great day exploring the national park with Simona and Lubo. The hikes were gorgeous and Simona’s experience in the region made the time on the trails even more special. It was wonderful to escape the city for the day. We would highly recommend to others who enjoying hiking and spending time outside.

From the start of the tour, it was clear that they were passionate, knowledgeable, and excited to share their knowledge. 5.00We went to Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland national parks with Simone and Ales today. The weather was great , Simone kept us entertained with Rock names and knowledge of local flora and fauna. We were with two teenagers who loved the experience too. All 3 hikes were short and sweet and worth the walk to them. For us this was a great way to see the nature in a new country , learn about the local culture and way of life and just enjoy the beautiful countryside.
