Your adventure begins at Chamán Mexican Creative Kitchen (Av. del Palmar #565, between Calle Chiripa and Sábalo), where you will be greeted by your guides with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the activities. From there, you will start a 20 to 25 minute hike along nature trails until you reach the first of the most important “Sacred Places” for the indigenous Wixárika (Huichol) community. From this point, you will begin a spiritual and cultural journey through various sacred sites within the jungle. At each stop, Wixarika Spiritual Guide will share with you ancient stories, symbols and teachings that reveal the deep connection between their culture, the earth and the universe. This tour has the official support of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), which guarantees the authenticity and respect of this unique experience. At the end of the ceremony, you will return through the jungle until you reach the restaurant again, where this unforgettable experience will end.

5.00This is a great morning hike with spiritual blessings and great history on the area. The total hike is roughly 2 hours, there are some steep hills and some of the trails can be washed out so I suggest good shoes. I am 55, out of shape and made it in slides. I do not recommend doing that, wear good walking shoes and be comfortable walking up hills. Jair and Santos are amazing and gave us so much history and spiritual information, this is a great way to spend the morning. And, breakfast at Chapman’s was amazing. Great experience, would definitely do this hike again.

5.00We really appreciated this ritual/spiritual hike. We are big city folk but looking to connect to the body and nature, and this hike did exactly that. Jair and Santos were welcoming, informed, courteous and genuine. The morning hike means less heat and fewer bugs and that was just fine with us. The jungle/nature is fascinating, along with centuries-old indigenous relationship to it. Jair also provided some lovely recommendations for our stay in Sayulita.

5.00This was such an amazing experience. My brother and I enjoyed connecting with nature with guidance of Jair and Santos. They elaborated on the why of our walk, in which ways to appreciate what’s in our world. How to reconnect with our roots. And how to listen. You’re taken through the beautiful landscape of Sayulita to a hidden treasure of peace, you see parts untouched by man. I will be recommending this to all my friends and family. This was an amazing experience. My brother and I really enjoyed connecting with nature guided by Jair and Santos. They shared the purpose of our walk, the different ways to appreciate what surrounds us, how to reconnect with our roots and how to listen. They take you through the beautiful landscape of Sayulita to a hidden treasure of peace, where you can see places untouched by human beings. I will definitely recommend it to all my friends and family

5.00This tour was much more than a walk. It was a trip to the heart of Wixarika culture. The blessing ceremony with Saints the spiritual guide of the community left me speechless; I felt a deep connection to the earth and myself. Walking through the jungle, listening to the sacred stories and ending up on that hidden beach was like a rebirth. It's not just a tour, it's a life experience!
