Our family was truly captivated by our tour of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an. The guide was punctual, ensuring we started our journey as planned, and the transport provided was both spacious and comfortable. The guide's insights and approachability made the tour extremely enjoyable. Every inquiry we had was met with clarity. Definitely suggest this tour for anyone seeking an enriching exploration of these historic wonders

Friendly, knowledgeable and, engaging guide who kept us informed throughout. The actual tour was good however I'm not a great supporter of factory tours as part of the process. All in all a good day with a good guide.

My husband and I booked this private tour because viewing the Terracotta Warriors has always been a bucket-list item for my husband. And, yes, the Warriors were amazing! What was not amazing was the "shopping" stop we made at a factory that makes terracotta warriors, souvenirs, furniture, you name it! That was not in the description of the tour we booked, and not only did we not purchase anything (despite the many sales pitches), we were annoyed that our time was wasted there. Yes, their items were quite pretty, but we wanted to get on with the Terracotta Warriors - the real purpose of our tour. The shopping stop is the reason my rating is not a 5-star. The Warriors lived up to their hype, our lunch was plentiful and delicious, and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was beautiful. We were lucky enough to be there when the monks were chanting, and we loved that. Our guide, Becky, was very nice and very knowledgeable. She is working on her English, however, and sometimes we did have a language barrier.

Sites were extremely interesting and more than we expected. We visited on labour day, May 1 and it was impossible to see much due to the crowds who were pushy and quite impolite. Our daughter of 6, would have been crashed by the crowds, had she not been on my husband's shoulders, so avoid public holidays. Due do the crowds, the tour guide opted to wait for us at each exit from the sites so we did not have explanations there, therefore she wanted to pass on the information in the car which was not the best option. so we were mostly on our own and did not fee we had a tour guide with us. however, had she come inside, she probably could not have offered the explanations due to the crowds, however she could have done it outside each hall.
