5.00My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this tour! The guide was lovely and insightful, Zaanse Schans is a must see when you’re in Amsterdam so I would highly recommend it!
This is a perfect half day trip. Although it was sunny, it was quite cold and the indoor parts of the tour were great.

5.00Lovely views and shops to visit on site with some lovely coffee and pastries to feast upon. The working windmills were fascinating and the shops had helpful friendly staff and some amazing cheese and chocolate to buy, alongside clogs and diamonds so plenty of variety. Some great information learnt about how the local areas evolved into what they are now and there was a constant smell of Coco from the local Chocolate factory which was surreal!
We were never picked up after calling to confirm the pick up place arriving 30 minutes prior waited for over an hour.

1.00We were never picked up. I called to confirm pickup location and arrived 30 minutes prior to pickup time and were never picked up. When I called back I was simply told to find a way to catch them 30 minutes away from the city because the tour had already started.

5.00This experience was fabulous! I have been to Amsterdam before but adding this on to trip made it more magical stunning tour and place one of my favourite tours! Maaike took us out to the beautiful zaanse schans - She was fantastic her tour was such a high standard she was very good at explaining everything and bringing us to fabulous places! Highly recommend going here to see this beautiful place and if you can go on the tour with Maaike even better 😍 thank you 😊

5.00I took this tour in December 2025 and had so much fun! Our tour guide Biana was super nice and full of interesting information. I really liked the cheese tasting (they have all different kinds of delicious cheese to taste!) And going inside the windmill was really cool. The demos for cheese and shoemaking are pretty short, but I learned a lot and it was really interesting! There is time for quick restroom breaks but not lunch, so my only suggestion would be to build in time for a short lunch. But other than that, highly recommend for a fun Dutch experience!

5.00Our host Mikkha made the excursion memorable, I leant so much and laughed alot too. The gentleman at the windmill was so informative about the whole process of the wood process and didn't mind that I had so many questions. Which he answered happily. Plus I live cheese 🧀!! That was a big bonus too!

5.00I would absolutely recommend this trip. Our guide, Caroline, was just lovely, very knowledgeable, and shared lots of interesting information about both the places we visited and Amsterdam itself. It wasn’t a trip where you’re talked at constantly. She gave us just the right amount of information, keeping it engaging without ever becoming boring. We loved seeing the windmills, learning about clogs, and watching the cheese making, plus the tasting was fantastic. Make sure you try the rum hot chocolate, it’s delicious 😍 Our driver, David, was also super friendly and gave us great suggestions for the area. We can’t thank Caroline and David enough, it was a really fab start to our trip to Amsterdam.
