The weather was great, so the view of Shirakawa-go from the observation deck was beautiful. I also really liked the townscape of Takayama. I'm glad I joined this tour because it offered a variety of views that I can't see in Tokyo.

This is a wonderful tour! Our guide Hiroko was excellent - very attentive, kind and informative. Shirakawaga was enchanting - such a special place. And we were lucky enough to experience a special festival with street music and entertainers. Takayama was equally beautiful. A peaceful town with many wonderful shops and food experiences and the Festival Floats were amazing to view. We would highly recommend this tour! Thank you Hiroko for your valuable input to making this day special.

It was a wonderful day. The guide was so nice and knowledgeable. Shirakawago was like a fairy tale but what’s amazing is not only how beautiful and charming it is but also that people still live there. In Takayama we saw the floats they use in the festivals, spectacular and walked through the charming town. This town was not as rural but still beautiful.

Went on the 1-Day Shirakawago & Takayama Tour from Kanazawa with JTB and really enjoyed it. The places we visited were super scenic and full of charm—especially Shirakawago, which looked like something out of a postcard! Our guide, Jon-san, was fantastic. He was super friendly, patient, and knew so much about the areas we were visiting. He shared a lot of fun facts and made the trip really enjoyable. You could tell he really cared about making sure everyone had a good time. Overall, a smooth and fun day trip—would definitely recommend it if you're in Kanazawa and want to see a bit more of the countryside!
