3-Day Private Tour from Amman: Petra, Wadi Rum, Dana, Aqaba, and Dead Sea

This is a 3-day tour Private tour for 1-7 Persons to Dana Nature Reserve , Al-Shobak castle , Petra and little Petra, Wadi Rum, Gulf of Aqaba on the Red sea and the Dead Sea. Start first day from Amman, toward Dana Nature reserve (Quick Stop for photos) , and continue to Al-Shobak castle , move afterward and visit Little Petra, and drop off at your hotel in Wadi Mousa city. Starting next day early Petra site visit till 4pm (in the winter 2pm) this time is sufficient for exploring main parts of the city. Moving afterwards to Wadi Rum and spend the night, explore the valley by a Bedouin Jeep tour for 2 hours (Based on your selected option). The final day move to Aqaba (The lowest southern corner in Jordan) then to the Dead Sea through the Rift Valley highway. Aqaba on the Red sea is skipped during winter season ( Nov to March) due to short day light and this will cause delay arrival (Dead Sea Beach is closed around 4pm in winter).

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
A moderate amount of walking is involved so wear proper shoes ( Sneakers or boots are good).

Shobak Castle
One of the major crossaders castles in Jordan.
Al-Beidha
Little Petra; the back area of Petra which was the main caravans stopping point after they cross the rift valley coming from Africa.
Petra and Wadi Rum
Accommodations
No accomodation /Meals in the Transportation option. One night in a Bedouin camp at Wadi Rum with breakfast and dinner.
Petra
The main visit to Petra site, where you can start early mornning to around 2-4 Pm.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Move after Petra visit to Wadi Rum and spend the nigh (Not included with Transportation option).
Wadi Rum - Red sea and Dead Sea

Jeep Tour at Wadi Rum for two hours (Not included with the Transporation only option).
Dead Sea
Moving from Rum to Gulf of Aqaba - the Red sea and move afterwards to the Dead Sea. No stop at Gulf of Aqaba - Red sea during winter time (November to March ) due to short day light.

5.00This private tour was amazing. We had a knowledgeable driver that went beyond his duty. Mohammad Ali, did not just drove us to the most awesome places but also made us comfortable the entire trip, anticipated our needs, [I have foot and knee issues) made it sure I was safe trekking the steep walk in Wadi Rum. Offered the best way to get through Petra and talked to a hotel staff to drive us to the Dead Sea because I have difficulties walking. And my most favorite was when he offered us Jordanian sweets on our first day made by his wife. I would definitely recommend this tour and ask for Mohammad Ali.

5.00Our driver Mohammed Ali was fantastic and we couldn’t have had a better trip. Our tour was from May 20-22 and the weather was great, but I think we just got lucky for that part. Our trip was my husband and I, with my mother as well. Our favorite parts were Petra and Wadi Rum, and our driver helped us get a private guide for going into Petra from the back and that was a fantastic decision as it meant we did not have to do all the steps going up into the monastery and rather got to go down from the monastery. Additionally our driver Mohammed was really helpful in getting us good local food, and helping us take amazing photos as well. I have a food allergy to gluten and he helped me figure out a good local dish I could eat and helped me get the right food which is something that can be really difficult for traveling with an allergy. He really went above and beyond to help us have a great experience and we already can’t wait to come back and do an even longer tour, for sure with Mohammed as our guide again. Truly an incredible trip, and we are so appreciative and so glad we booked this tour.

5.00Communication was smooth from the start, with on-time hotel pickup and a well-organized itinerary. Although the tour included others, it felt very private and personalized. We explored breathtaking sites like Petra, Wadi Rum, Dana, Aqaba, and the Dead Sea at a comfortable pace. The guide was incredibly patient and thoughtful, especially with my mobility limitations, always ensuring I was safe and included. Their kindness and attention to detail made the experience truly special. I never felt rushed or left out—instead, I was treated like family. This tour was a perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and genuine Jordanian hospitality. Highly recommended!

5.00The perfect way to see all of Jordan in just a few days. Murad was a very good driver, and was a kind knowledgeable guide. He was constantly sharing interesting facts about the history of each area throughout the tour. We opted for the accommodation option and jeep tour and both were definitely worth it. I’d recommend Jordan private tours for anyone who wants to get the most out of a short trip to Jordan.
