  My partner and I booked this experience at the last minute, not knowing what to expect at all — all we had hoped for was to have a good time and explore the Halong/ Lan Ha/ Cat Ba area. Thanks to our guide, Thanh, we had a better time than we could have dreamed of! Within hours of booking, Thanh patiently and thoroughly explained everything we needed to know for the next three days. During the hike, he was so lovely to talk to, and had so many insights to share with us. Then for the cycling and bioluminescent swimming/ kayaking, he was again so supportive, honest, kind, and patient :)) Even after the tour, he made sure that we wouldn’t have any troubles travelling to our next city! The cruise was also beyond beautiful — the room, the activities, the service, the food were all amazing. We found the tour to be action packed, but also so flexible when it came to having some downtime. Honestly, the tour was just so unique, and not something that we’ll ever forget! It was clear just how much effort went into making us comfortable, and we really appreciate that we got to have this experience. — Also, again, thank you so much Thanh! • Very good activities but need better communications

  I mistakenly booked this tour thinking it was 2 nights on a cruise boat. The 2 nights actually was on land at a home stay on an island. I actually liked it better. The home stay is very spacious and the grounds is very pretty. The activities included hiking, night kayaking, cruising the bay, more kayaking, swimming and visiting a fish farm in the bay. All of our tour group only spent one night. There were no other activities if you spend the extra night. Overall we love the tour and highly recommend it. The only improvement feedback we have is for tour operator to have more proactive communication. We were not given specifics regarding the itinerary so we were having to ask for information at various points in the tour.

  Really amazing experience and awesome guides. The cruise around Lan Hà Bay was my favourite part of the tour
