Moon Valley Tour
Valle De La Luna
15:30 to 20:30: Tour to Valle de la Luna. We will start the tour departing from the center of San Pedro de Atacama towards the Cordillera de la Sal in the Atacama Desert, the driest place on earth, in the direction of one of its most picturesque points: the Moon Valley. The names already give a clear clue to the landscape, where rock formations modeled by erosion, salt mantles and views that will make you feel like on another planet reign. We will cross the valley transversely, visiting its famous rock formations: the Three Marias, the Canyon, the Amphitheater and the Coyote Stone. To finish the tour, we will enjoy the sunset from a natural viewpoint, where you can see how the desert changes color, with large volcanoes on the horizon, offering a show that will leave you speechless.
Laguna Cejar Tour

We will visit a series of lagoons inside the Salar de Atacama, the largest salt flat in Chile. We will first visit the Ojos del Salar, two deep wells of fresh water in the middle of the desert, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. Then we will visit the Tebinquinche Lagoon, where we will walk along its path to appreciate the magnificent views, where the sky merges with the desert and the whiteness of the salt. The tour continues in the famous Laguna Cejar and Laguna Piedra, surrounded by green and yellow grass that highlights the color of the water, contemplating a unique landscape of turquoise waters and volcanoes. In the latter we can enjoy a bath with which we will experience the floating effect, similar to that of the Dead Sea. To end the day, we will enjoy an appetizer watching the sunset with a view of these lagoons. Bathing is only allowed in Laguna Piedra and Ojos del Salar. Bathing is not allowed in Laguna Cejar or Laguna Tebinquinche.

On the tour to the Tatio Geysers we will leave at dawn from San Pedro de Atacama towards the Altiplano, climbing the hills and mountains of the Andes Mountains. After 1 hour and a half of travel, we will arrive at the Geysers, a unique natural spectacle in the world, with 80 smoking geysers at 4200 m altitude. Next to this natural setting, we will enjoy a breakfast replenishment, and then tour the geothermal field, surrounded by numerous steam columns. Also, it is possible to visit the rustic well that is within the same field.
Observatorio Etno-Astronomico
We will pick you up at your hotel to go to the place where we will make this Astronomical Tour under one of the best skies in the world for the practice of astronomy. The day will be divided into three stages. One corresponds to the conversation in which we will learn basic concepts of astronomy. In another stage, we will look at the sky with the naked eye to learn to identify the cardinal points and some zodiacal constellations, as well as information about the Andean worldview. The last stage includes observation through telescopes and binoculars in the open field, so that we can identify the objects that are visible at the time we carry out the activity. These include planets, binary stars, globular and open clusters, and others. In addition, we will take astrophotography before returning to San Pedro de Atacama.

3.00The first trip Valle de la Lune was good, very easy walking and great food and drinks at the end. The second trip was the lagoon which was OK Again the good and drinks were good at the end. The same night we went on the stargazing trip and arrived back at 0030hr. The trip was OK. We had only 3.5 hours sleep before we had to be up for the final trip to the geysers. The timings were very badly planned and did not make for an enjoyable trip and even negatively impacted on our next day. I would not recommend this tour unless you pick all the detail out, particularly the timings.

5.00This was a great, all in one way to coordinate the various tours and sights to see in and around San Pedro de Atacama. They were really professional and prompt in setting up the tours, which, in turn, were well coordinated and fun. They even helped me arrange an airport transfer. When you get your schedule, definitely take a look around the town to see if there are other tours you would want to see; most of the tours end in time for you to take more than 1 per day. One note, I do wish there was a bit more hiking around in Valle de Luna; it seemed like we were doing more riding around in the van to go to photo spots.

3.00The trips were well organized and the nature was absolutely beautiful. I’m usually not someone who likes big groups or crowds and so for me personally it wasn’t the ideal way to see the area as there was very little space for independent exploration. We stuck together the whole time and mostly just took pictures of the nature instead of getting to experience it fully by just being there. But there were also always soooo many people in the locations that it would have been hard to find a calm place regardless of if you were doing it with a tour or not. That said, all of the guides were great and it was a great trip :)

5.00I give this review a 4.8 out of 5 but I don't have that option. They were always on time or close to time, given the schedule I had it worked out perfect. Valley of the Moon and star gazing day 1, Laguna 2nd day and tatio 3rd day. The guides were absolutely knowledgeable in both English and Portuñol. The places were all stunning and the tour includes all the go to locations for San Pedro de Atacama BUT you didn't have to worry about that, since it was all booked in one place. They maintained perfect communication by letting us know when they would pick us up and what order they would do so in. They would create WhatsApp groups sharing their live location which is great you would step out of the hotel right before they arrived. I absolutely loved it and would recommend all of that. The only thing I would change is the cost of the entrances to the sites I would include it in the cost of the tour itself or would be more clear how much it would be per entrance in the description. 6+21+15+20 dollars something like that. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

5.00We recently did a 3-day tour package in San Pedro de Atacama that included four incredible experiences, and we couldn’t recommend it more. Our first tour was to the Valley of the Moon, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The landscapes were otherworldly, and our guide Cata was fantastic — super informative and engaging. The picnic at sunset was a real highlight, with stunning views and a great atmosphere. Next, we visited the salt lakes with Cristian, who was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Floating in the salt water was a surreal experience, and Cristian made the tour both educational and fun. The third tour took us to the geysers at sunrise with Francisco as our guide. He was not only informative and friendly but also brought humor to the chilly early morning start, making it all the more enjoyable. Our final experience was the stargazing tour, which was truly mind-blowing. Though I can’t remember the name of our guide, he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about astronomy. He explained the cosmos in a way that was both detailed and easy to understand — a magical way to end our time in the desert. Communication for all tours — from pick-ups to booking — was smooth and efficient. All of our guides spoke excellent English, which made the experience even more seamless. Overall, this tour package exceeded all expectations. Each guide brought their own unique energy and expertise, and we left San Pedro feeling amazed and enriched. Highly recommend!

5.00The landscapes are amazing and the scenery beautiful! If it’s in winter, wear clothes suitable for negative temperatures and snow. Tours take in the hostel/hotel and leave you in the centre of San Pedro de Atacama. I recommend accommodations near Caracoles street.

5.00The tours and guides (Lolo and Francisco) were great. The guides gave a lot of scientific, historical and cultural context to the locations, which enriched the experience. The geysers were what impressed me most, a beautiful landscape and a very different phenomenon of nature. And seeing the stars in the desert, along with all the context and explanation of the guide, was a lesson for me. This walk impressed me, I did not expect so much from him.
