Important Note regarding Maligne Canyon Waterfalls: Due to damage caused by last summer’s wildfire, access to Maligne Canyon is currently closed by Parks Canada for infrastructure repairs to ensure visitor safety. If these repairs are not completed prior to your selected tour date, the short walk to view waterfalls in Maligne Canyon will not be possible. In this case, the tour will proceed with a slightly altered itinerary, offering alternative stops to showcase the area’s unique beauty. This includes a visit to Maligne Lookout, where you can view the dramatically changed landscape from a high vantage point, and additional time at Medicine Lake, featuring a short walk along the shore for stunning perspectives of the lake surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. Please rest assured that the tour length and price remain unchanged, and the overall experience will still provide incredible opportunities to explore and learn about the Maligne Valley’s natural wonders.

I think it was explained well in the descriptions. They should be aware that the fire last year is still heavily impacting the Jasper area, and thus the tour. The tour was on time, the guide was knowledgable, the scenery beautiful, and the wildlife a little shy.

This tour was exactly what we hoped for. Malign Lake was beautiful and unspoiled. Our guide Kelli was very informative. We got very lucky with the weather and were able to see elk, bear, mountain goats and a deer. Cruise on the lake was also perfect as the skies were clear and we had amazing views of the mountains

This was a great tour! We saw wildlife and some of the most beautiful areas. Spirit Island was truly a beautiful area. The cruise was great and Sam was a great guide with a lot of knowledge about the area. Thanks Sam

The overall tour was fine however we didn’t see the canyon or waterfall as promised which was down to the fire however we weren’t made aware that this part would be omitted before the tour. The tour guide Jake was often reluctant to answer questions at times which was disheartening as we were eager to learn more about the landscape. He tended to repeat himself a lot which became tiresome and he had an air of self importance around him. He also had some questionable views on climate change which was disappointing due to his job being to educate us on the receding glaciers.
