Would you like to experience the thrill of searching for and chasing the northern lights in the area surrounding Abisko National Park? Your professional aurora chasing guide will use the experience of the Lights Over Lapland team, combined with local weather and aurora forecasts to make the best possible decision about where to look for the northern lights. Joey is an enthusiastic and fun person to have as a guide. Her life story and passion for the northern light are both fantastic stories in them self. We were lucky an got to se some really strong beautiful light. I think maybe Joey was the happiest of us all. Thank you Joey for a fun night.

The tour guide did her best with giving us information and searching for the aurora, but we were unlucky as it was barely visible due to cloud cover. It's also a very bus focused experience so if you want to be moving around, it's not ideal. The warm drink and biscuits were appreciated though.

We were only in town for three nights and really wanted to see the aurora, and Felix completely delivered. He took us to this perfect spot - no crowds, just a small group of 8 of us and the sky. The northern lights were insane that night, way better than I even imagined. Felix also came prepared with this amazing tea that literally saved us from freezing. I have no idea what was in it but it was delicious and kept us going all night. The guy thinks of everything. The other thing - he's really good with cameras. I'm pretty hopeless with mine but Felix showed me what settings to use and how to actually capture the lights properly. Our photos turned out incredible. We also got the camera package he offers and that was 100% worth it. Without his help we would've just had a bunch of blurry green smudges. Just a really great guy who clearly loves what he does. Made the whole trip memorable. Can't recommend him and Lights Over Lapland enough!

the tour was perfect! Even though it was a bit cloudy, our guide, Romy, was fully commited to chase and find the right spot to see the northen lights. We drove a bit and eventually managed to see them three times!! Every time they were brighter and even more amazing!! In the end, Romy decided to drive a bit more to a beautiful spot close to a lake… it was beautiful! She was extremely nice, offered us cookies and hot tea and expleined us some very interesting facts. 100/100 reccomend, totally worth it!!

We did a private photographic Aurora chase . We were provided all the necessary equipment overalls, cameras, tripods. The weather conditions were not good, the sky was cloudy and the wind was in the wrong direction. Our guide Matteo was costantly in touch with the other guides and they managed to find a good spot where the sky was finally clear enough to see the northen lights. He managed also to find a good spot only for our group , he set up a fire to keep us warm. His experience as a sailor and his knowledge of the wind played an important role to find a good spot. I reccomend the tour.

It was a trip of two couples. We had great experience seeing green and red auroras. Our guide , Miquel is knowledge full and great. He explain well and we manage to see it all around us… beautiful!!

Great tour mainly because our guide Joey was so good; very knowledgeable and entertaining. She made sure everyone got the most out of the experience and effortlessly kept a whole busload of people happy. Thoroughly recommend!
