  We felt very lucky to have Rehan as our tour guide, as he is amazing! After the booking manager ignored my messages, we were unsure that our tour would happen, but we loved Rehan and enjoyed the evening so much that we wanted to write this review to personally praise and thank him for being such a wonderful ambassador for his company and making our desert safari experience so special. He also took some wonderful photos and sent them to us without asking for anything in return, which we really appreciated.

  . They claimed unlimited drinks and a BBQ dinner, but upon arrival, they pushed a 50 AED VIP upgrade just to access food and drinks from 5PM. Without it, “unlimited drinks” started at 6:30PM – and consisted of tea bags and instant coffee with no spoons. "BBQ" Dinner was laughable: one tiny piece of shish tawook and a small undercooked sausage. Asking for more felt like begging. The photographer tried to scam me – I agreed to pay 40 AED for a printed photo and WhatsApp copies, but he tried charging more, lied about the terms, and never sent the photos, only i got yhe printed photo. Prices were ridiculous (20 AED for a can of Pepsi), and we had to walk a long way for sandboarding instead of being driven. They followed the basic itinerary, but overall, the experience was very disappointing.

  Amazing experience...do not miss. Our tour guide Ateeq was excellent. Took the most amazing pictures and took us to the best spots without any crowds

  A great experience dune bashing, camel riding and sand surfing. It takes around 50 minutes to travel from Abu Dhabi but well worth the trip. Our guide was good but his driving to and from the desert was very erratic, he spent the whole time scrolling through his phone while driving so was constantly swerving which was very unnerving.

• Worse experience ever. Booking this safari ruined my family weekend trip to Abu Dhabi!

  Total waste of our time in Abu Dhabi! Do not book with Viator! The local operator made me, my mother (77 years old) and my brother wait for 4 hours. After that they did not show up, offered that we take a taxi by ourselves and go to the desert to join them. The communication with the local tour operator was simply unclear and poor. I clearly stated any of us had a local number in the emirates and we provided a whats app number for them to contact us. My brother called them several times to clarify this and they had our contact information. They asked my brother to get in touch with the driver and so he did. After 4 hours of waiting we called customer service to request a full refund and a compensation. They did not provide any compensation but approved the refund. After 2 months I have not received the refund.
