The Mosque is spectacular and very worth visiting. There are other places that aren’t really worth it, like the house of the mats and unfortunately this tour is more about taking the picture than really knowing the places. On the other hand the driver/guide we were assigned VERY bad!! He did not explain anything or accompany us in any of the places, only gave indications of what time and where to see him. Very impolite, lousy handling as well as rough and more than a couple of times about to crash, which did not allow to go relaxed and enjoy the scenery for being really worried about the way you drive. In a bad mood all the time and even rude. His name Muhammad

Notes the agency: the actual tour is FAR from what it was advertised. The actual hours given for grand mosque was only 1 hour, with very limited time spent on the actual mosque. The tour guide took us to a restaurant that was part of his contacts, instead of dropping us in the food court which tailer variety of food to all of us. The lunch time should be cut into 1 hour or less. Dates market and that gallery were complete waste of the time and should be removed or just limits to 15 min only. The museum Louve and Eimirates Palace were cut off without explanation. Our money spent the tour at the end was a waste.

Compared to Dubai, Abu Dhabi is dull. The grand mosque is wonderful but the former President’s Palace (now a Mandarin Oriental) is like a mausoleum. There are some interesting skyscrapers. After the mosque and palace, the tour loses energy as a succession of visits to a heritage park, date market and altogether pointless quick stop at Ferrari World leaves one wanting to get back to Dubai, an hour and a half away. The best part of the excursion was the group itself, a total of four plus the driver.

To little time to visit the Mosque. The driver should be only driving not tour guide. When stopping for lunch better restaurants that the Indian places.

The Mosques was about the only part of this excursion that was worth seeing. The "art museums" are nothing more than people trying to pressure you into buying their items. More time should be spent at some of the other locations that you actually stop at. Food options for lunch need to be revisited to provide a location with multiple food options, such as a mall food court. Our guide gave two options (Arabic or Chinese) and didn't tell us the cost of the meal until after we were done eating. Our guide brought his family (wife and young son). The son flopped around in the seat behind me, play games and music on his iphone, while his parents sat up front, blasting their music and talking to one another. This felt more like I was on their family day trip than me being a paying customer on a tour. The other two ladies traveled together from Czechoslovakia, didn't speak English very well and didn't seem to mind the fact that our guide was more engaged with his wife than providing tour guide information to the paying customers.
