We begin the tour by crossing a meadow or mallin, and then climbing the slopes of the mountain. After 30 minutes we have views of the Centinela River valley, Lake Argentino and Torres del Paine. The route continues uphill until reaching elevated fields at about 400 meters above sea level. Where you could eventually see the ranch's livestock (cows) and wild animals such as guanacos, hares, foxes, armadillos and skunks (skunks or skunks). After appreciating the landscapes, the descent begins through a lenga forest, until reaching the barbecue area in the center of the ranch.

We invite you to immerse yourself in a typically Patagonian experience: an exciting horseback ride in the Cerro Frias. With spectacular landscapes and the thrill of exploring nature on horseback, this activity It promises to be unforgettable. The adventure begins when we look for them at their hotel in El Calafate. After 20 minutes of travel we arrived at the Alice ranch. Starting from the ranch, we will enter the trails of Cerro Frías, during the tour, you will have the opportunity to connect deeply with the natural beauty of Patagonia. Ascending through the slopes until we reach 400 meters above sea level where we can contemplate the impressive views of the Valle del Centinela River, Lake Argentino and the imposing Cordón de los Cristales. We begin the return to the ranch stable. through a lenga forest to enjoy the serenity that only this environment can offer.

Nice excursion. The supervisors are very friendly. Beautiful views of the lake, the mountains and the valley! After the horseback ride, there is a hot drink with snack while enjoying the beautiful view!

There was way too many people who signed up for the experience at the same time I did. This took away from the interpersonal interaction with the guides and the opportunity to ask questions. It also felt a bit rushed.
Nice but expensive for what you really get.

We had a lovely afternoon and really enjoyed the horseback riding itself, but the whole experience felt a bit oversold. The program is advertised as a four-hour activity, but in reality, we were on horseback for less than two hours. The rest of the time was spent picking up a large group (around 15 people) from various hotels in town and dropping them off again afterward. The promised “typical Argentinian snack” turned out to be coffee and cake — nice enough, but nothing special. During the ride there was no opportunity to take pictures, and our guide Isis and her two helpers never offered to take any either, even though everyone would probably have appreciated that. No wild life seen at all. Isis was described as being very informative, but that wasn’t really the case — and sorry Isis just for the record, Lago Argentino is not one million square kilometers! All in all, a mixed experience: beautiful scenery and pleasant riding, but too expensive for what you get.

We took the morning ride and got to watch the sunrise over the outskirts of El Calafate. Our guide, Luisina, was super friendly, spoke excellent English, and made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. We had plenty of freedom with the horses, and the views were absolutely stunning. Lunch was decent, though I was expecting a bit of meat given we were in the Argentine countryside. Overall, a very fun and memorable experience — definitely worth it!

I had an amazing time, the guide who picked us up was really nice and welcoming. The guides on the horses were really good as well, always making sure al goes smoothly for everyone. Even helping with taking pictures. Really nice

A magical evening spent on horseback across a ranch in the hills of Patagonia followed by a good and filling dinner. Our guide, Isis, was wonderful! Multi-lingual, friendly, knowledgeable, and she even serenaded us with a song from her home culture! A beautiful way to see the sunset and the moon rise—life doesn’t get much better! The horses were calm, friendly, and knew exactly what to do on the trail.
