Great trip and even better guide and driver! Thanks for everything! We left the group and went on a 4hr hike loop with great views of a Lake and Fitz Roy. If you're looking to stay active after a long bus ride and if weather permits, this is the way to go. They will drop you off at a restaurant where you will pick up your sack lunch and then hike your way up. Breathtaking. Busy trail but depends on day / season. Busy trail didn't get in our way.

I enjoyed my visit to El Chalten. I was instantly emersed in the rich history of Patagonia. We climbed a hill to get a good view of the Fitz Roy mountain. The weather was brilliant. The guide, Alejandro, was kind and helpful. When we climbed up the hill, there was a place where it was raw rock and I was apprehensive in case I slipped. Alex held my hand and I managed the climb. The view of mount Fitz Roy was fabulous. We had lunch at a local restaurant which was okay. After that we were left for one hour to explore the town. This was a bonus as I could feel the vibe of this Patagonian town in person.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable, he gave great information about the history and developmentof Patagonia. He answered all the questions that guests had in both English and Spanish.

A great full-day tour of El Chalten with easy hikes and stunning nature. The guides and driver were all super friendly and helpful, Paula did a wonderful job showing us around and tailoring the experience to the group.

The first hike was fairly to see an excellent view from the top. Second one was more of a stroll to see a waterfall.

Unless I wanted to take a 6-hour bus ride for an hour of trecking I found that this excursion was not worth it. The short one-hour hike is advertised as easy but you are not told that it climbs quite a bit. The visit to the waterfall, there is barely 100m flat is pretty. Lunch consists of a unique dish and a soft drink. The bus is comfortable and Sandra the guide is charming. Fitz Roy is invisible because in the clouds. So in the end all for that!!!
Too far from the caulk so only still see the basics.

Except if you are a fan of trekking, it is not worth the trip and, in that case you need several days.

Nice ans relax day trip to El Chaltén. I liked the tour and the walking experience up the hills and discovering the beauty of this national Park.

Our guide, Walter and our driver Alejandro were a great team. On the drive up, we learned about the history of the park, the animals and Patagonian fascinating facts. We were lucky to have a gorgeous sunny day and minimal cloud coverage making for spectacular viewing. There was a walk to a great viewpoint and to a waterfall. The young town has a fantastic ice cream shop. Lunch is included at a local restaurant. In our case, our lack of Spanish and no internet signal caused some challenges there. This is an excursion that is not to be missed!
