Discover in a full day excursion Torres del Paine National Park (Chile), considered one of the eighth wonders of the world. Located in the heart of Southern Patagonia, 300 kms south of El Calafate, it is considered one of the most beautiful parks in the world for its curious and unique conformation of mountains, glaciers, lakes, waterfalls, flora and fauna.
Crossing the Patagonian steppe from north to south we will arrive at the Cancha Carrera border crossing (approximately 3.30 hrs), from where we will start touring the beautiful south of Chile.

Discover in a full day excursion Torres del Paine National Park (Chile), considered one of the eighth wonders of the world. Located in the heart of Southern Patagonia, 300 kms south of El Calafate, it is considered one of the most beautiful parks in the world for its curious and unique conformation of mountains, glaciers, lakes, waterfalls, flora and fauna. Onboard our OVERLAND 4X4 TRUCKS we will visit strategic points, from where we will undertake walks that allow us to access the panoramic viewpoints of the most important natural attractions of the Park. By default we do a walk of low technical difficulty and minimal physical demand. The walk is done in the company of our trekking guides authorized by CONAF - Chile.
El Calafate
The tour begins early in the morning from El Calafate -we use several support vehicles to ensure a quick start of the tour- to the international border. Chile the head vehicle finished the pick up we will head to the international border of Cancha Carrera - Cerro Castillo, taking the unpaved road called "The ShortCut" where we will arrive in at 10.30 am approximately. The guide will assist the travelers on the customs procedures. The reduced travel times are the result of the enormous benefits of using our latest generation 4x4 Overland Truck, which allows excellent performance on the asphalt (even by on top of conventional buses) and circulate on unpaved roads almost like on the asphalt.

5.00We really enjoyed this tour and choosing the drop off in Chile worked great. You save on a long ride back and can continue on your travels in Chile. The luggage was safe in back of the vehicle. Make sure you book transportation from the drop off point ahead of time, because it’s a national park and they won’t have cabs just sitting there. We contacted our hotel to get their services. I’d also recommend checking with the tour company regarding the best pickup option for your hotel. Luckily the guide helped us the day of and we were able to change the pickup with the car service. The tour itself gave you a wonderful experience of the park. While the hike mostly flat, there aren’t a lot of stops so it was tiring for some. I would recommend light weight hiking pants and hiking shoes would be handy, but I just had my tennis shoes and was fine. We went at the end of March and weather was perfect with no crowds. Highly recommend. The tour guide really took care of us. Amazing experience! The packed lunch was pretty good too, but you also have a stop to buy food if needed.

4.00The tour was enjoyable. But I don’t think I was informed that I had to purchase ticket to the Chilean national park myself. I received a WeChat message 2 days before the trip about buying the ticket which cost $35 per person.
