  Yogi was great. We had a small group of 4 and did the 2pm class. Food was easy to make with our great instructor and it was the nicest food we had in Bali

  Dear driver and family. Course was at a Balinese family home, covered in a traditional house. Nicely cooked (especially a lot cut for the bumbos there was already a lot prepared) . Had a nice day.

  My husband and I attended the afternoon session at Subak Cooking Class. Although we couldn’t join the morning class due to our itinerary, and thus missed the market tour, it was still a wonderful experience! Staying in the Ubud area, our host made things very easy by picking us up near Ubud Palace. We drove to their beautiful family compound, where we were greeted with warm hospitality and a refreshing homemade sweet tea. We were given clear instructions and an overview of the dishes we would be making, along with the necessary ingredients. The class was a delightful experience; we had a great time, met some wonderful people, and immersed ourselves in the traditions of Bali. It was a fantastic afternoon. We highly recommend this class if you’re looking for an authentic Bali experience that you will remember and cherish for the rest of your life! They even provide you with the recipes for each dish, so you can recreate your favorite Balinese dishes anywhere and always remember your time in Bali. Special shoutout out to Tata, who transported us to the experience and the ladies of the house that cleaned the pans in between dishes and set up the wonderful display of ingredients. Our cooking instructor, Ketut Suartika, was patient and helpful!

  The entire cooking school team were fantastic. The Chef, our gorgeous driver and all the ladies in the kitchen went above and beyond to make our afternoon very fun and enjoyable.

  This was a brilliant experience for our family 3 boys aged 15 12 and 10 and they loved it. Food was so delicious and at least 4 out of the 6 meals you could cook at home. Staff were helpful and they pick you up from you homestay or hotel and drop you off. 4 hours great value

  So glad we booked this - all that I wanted to see, do and learn in a fun four hours cooking class. Meeting travelers from many different countries, having fun cooking and sharing stories over dinner too. An expert showing you how it was done, keeping everyone on track whilst the ladies in the background cleaned up the mess! Defiantly another highlight of our trip.   We found this course on the site watchyourguide for 360 000 r/person. Classes are not given in Ubud but in Tampaksiring 40 min in the north of Ubud. A driver picks you up at a given meeting point in Ubud that you choose. We cooked upstairs. There were 12 of us (French, German, Korean,...). There was a group on the ground floor. It is better upstairs because there is a view of the outdoor countryside. We have assembled at least 9 dishes. Because everything is already prepared and cut into small pieces. But it's interesting to see the blends and cooking methods. The activity is fun and you can discover their scents and spices of the country. Of course there is a spiced side that remains in some of the dishes. Classes start around 3pm in the afternoon and end around 5.30pm. Then we taste the dishes we cooked until 6:30 pm for a return then to Ubud. For the reasonable price, for these intercultural exchanges, for the discovery of Balinese cuisine, it is worth booking this activity on your stay.   Really enjoyable class in lovely tranquil rural surroundings a shot distance from the centre of Ubud. We practised 7 different recipes showcasing different cooking techniques. We would definitely recommend this class.
