Amazon Wonder Expeditions
• 9.00AM Transfer to the port of Bellavista Nanay. • We will visit the typical market of Bellavista Nanay, where we will observe the fruits and the typical foods of the jungle such as the aguaje, the suri edible worm, the juanes, varieties of fish, etc. • We will board our boat. • We will start from the Nanay River where the confluence of the rivers and the difference of the colors of the waters are observed. • We will navigate through the Amazon river • Arrival to the lodge and accomodation• Piranha fishing- Boatride on the Amazon river to look for gray and pink freshwater dolphins. This is your chance to jump in the river and swim close to them. Then enjoy the sunset on the Amazon river.• Nocturnal walking through the jungle, biological activity differs greatly between night and day time. Listen to nocturnal forest sounds and spot species that only emerge at night. Animals such as fireflies, beetles, walking sticks, frogs, Tarantulas, snakes.

La Isla De Los Monos
Visit to Monkey Island, where we see up to 8 varieties of primates in their natural habitat such as Spider Monkey, Monkey Woolly, Mono Titi Monkey Tamarin Monkey Leoncito (PygmyMarmoset), Howler Monkey, Squirrel Monkey, Huapo Black (Monk saki). A very attractive place where children and adults can interact and learn more about these species of the jungle. We continue navigating up the Amazon with direction to Yanayacu river basin, a blackwater river rich in flora and fauna, this ecosystem is considered by researchers as the jungle of mirrors. We go in search of exotic birds, mammals, imsects, primates, sloths and to see firsthand the amazing biodiversity of the rainforest along the riverbank. Nocturnal lake excursion by canoe ride to hear the rainforest nocturnal sounds and observe different species of animals such as nocturnal birds, Caimans, snakes, electric eel and more.

We get up early morning around 5.30 am. we take a canoe ride along the black water lake for our bird watching tour. this is the best time to spot different species such as king fishers, toucans, jacanas, herons, hawks, falcons and more. we will have the opportunity to observe the Pre-historic bird called Hoatzin. Ethnobotanical jungle walk. In this excursion we will explore through this greenery in search of some medicine that are found in each plant or tree, learning the secrets of nature and the ralationship between the plant and man. At the same time, we will go in search of wildlife and observe the different species of animals in their habitat such as monkeys, sloth, insects, birds, rodents, reptiles and amphibians. We will get to see different emergent trees of the jungle. Return to the City.

Great everything from Allen our Guide who was quite a professional...very friendly, friendly patient and a surprising knowledge of the environment and species, great excursions! Also note that our accommodation was very comfortable, the food exquisite and the rest of the staff lovely! They made our trip was wonderful. I recommend it 100%!

5.00We had an amazing stay! I would highly recommend Amazon Wonder Expeditions. Our guide Luis was amazing: extremely knowledgable and very flexible. We had activity packed days with some protected time to eat and relax. The meals were fantastic - we were fully catered to as vegetarians. All the staff at the lodge were lovely, like a family. We were sad to leave!

You gave us unforgettable experiences and shared so much knowledge. Thanks also to Americo and the whole crew for the warm hospitality and delicious dinners, and to Julio for safely taking us from one place to another by boat. I absolutely recommend this tour!

5.00It was an amazing journey! Our guid Franco and other members of the lodge are friendly, helpful, foods were great everyday. We didn’t see the sloth but I guess that’s just the nature, you cannot see them everyday. Other than that, everything was amazing.

5.00Overall it was a very pleasant three days and two nights. Our guide Franco was a very warm and responsible lad, and Louis, who booked the tickets and coordinated the whole journey, was friendly. The breakfast was great. Chalets, though modest, should be the average here.

5.00Everyday you will be immersed in the jungle. It’s impossible to not be surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of the environment, including in your net covered cabin. If you are a lover of wildlife, immersive outdoor experiences, and want an authentic Peruvian Amazon rainforest adventure, this is the tour for you! Our guide, Franco, was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. His passion for wildlife and the jungle at large is contagious. It was extremely impressive how quickly he could identify and inform us about the Amazon: both flora and fauna. He was happy to answer all our questions while safely and successfully guiding us through the surrounding areas (on foot or by boat) both day and night. He was very fun-spirited, easygoing, and flexible to our needs and interests. If you are unfamiliar with this type of immersive, hands on experience, I definitely would be prepared for bugs, heat/UV exposure, and remote living quarters (no hot water, no A/C or fans, and limited cellphone service). A portable fan, bug spray, sunscreen, portable phone charger, headlamps, and personal bug nets are recommended but not essential. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and drink at the lodge as well. The food was delicious!, and they even have exotic fruits, juices, and cocktails available. If you can go without your creature comforts and climate controlled living spaces for a few days, you’ll have a truly incredible experience in a truly wild part of the world. We highly recommend this once in a lifetime experience!

5.00We booked the 3 days 2 nights trip, which was amazing! Every was very well organised and we just had to enjoy without worrying about the logistics. Our guide Allen was great , as well as Johnathan and the lodge staff. We saw many animals and beautiful landscapes.

5.00First experience in the Amazon rainforest. Very beautiful and authentic. We are very satisfied with the activities done, the zero km food and our young guide Aldo, very good and very prepared! We recommend it for those looking for three days off in the Amazon rainforest!

5.00This was an authentic Amazon experience. It is not for everyone because no air-conditioning. Only generator power a couple hours a day also meaning only wifi a couple hours a day. But the experience was great. Delicious food and huge portions. I wish we had done one day longer because there were a couple of things I would have liked to do such as go to the local tribe and the animal sanctuary but we really loved it.
