This is an exclusive well detailed tour of the Masai culture and various activities from both men and women. The making of the Manyatta by women, Spear throwing, use of Masai herbs, and the intricate details of Age sets in Men and Women.
An authentic day experience of the historical and cultural tour of Masai land. This is a step-by-step experience of their culture from both Men and Women. The Maa community is privileged to have preserved their culture from the 17th and 18th Century. There a reference point when it comes to the culture of the East African communities both in Kenya and Tanzania.
A highlight of your safari vacation is a visit with these Maasai people. The Community is welcoming and happy to share their culture and ways of life.

5.00Tim was out guide and he was phenomenal! He arrived at our hotel on time. The ride to the village was smooth. Tim shared information about the areas as we rode through. He was very knowledgeable. When we arrived at the Masaii village, he explained what we would do while we were there. Tim introduced my husband and I to the family of the homes we were visiting. He shared information with us about the Masaii village and their culture. The family whom we visited were welcoming and friendly.
100% recommend!!!

5.00I did the Masai village tour experience with Tim and I couldn’t recommend it enough; just book it! I was a little nervous because I was solo traveling, but Tim was SO friendly and informative on the culture and taught me so much about Kenyan culture and customs. The Masai village tour itself was so eye opening. The people there were so friendly and excited to share their culture; activities included being dressed in their traditional gear, being shown how they make fire from scratch, spear throwing, tribal dancing, showing us how they build their houses, as well as other traditional tools they have. Tim even took extra time after the village tour to take me to the Giraffe center as well as a market with a jewelry store that I had wanted to check out. The entire tour I felt safe, and the environment was so welcoming for me to ask any questions that I had. 10/10 experience, this is a must do!!

5.00An experience of a lifetime. The family welcomes in into their life and shows you their daily life. We traveled with 4 kids under 12 and 4 adults. Mwose, our guide also made the experience a once in a lifetime. We are so grateful we got this opportunity.

4.00I think this was a good tour altogether. I believe the guide was knowledgeable about the tribe and added a great deal of relevance to the experience. I really wish it were longer, and I would have more time to experience day-to-day life. I asked about an overnight stay, and the guide said it could be arranged, but he never gave me any information on how to proceed.

He shared his culture with so much kindness, pride, and patience that we felt truly honored to be there. Mwose explained every tradition ina very interesting manner, like how they build their homes, how they create their beadwork, how they make fire, how they live with their animals, and how deeply connected they are to nature. He made us feel safe, comfortable, and included in every moment. If you want an authentic, beautiful, and soul-touching experience with the Maasai people, I truly couldn’t recommend Mwose more. He made this day one of the highlights of my entire journey.

5.00Very unique and memorable experience! We joined traditional dance, wore Maasai clothes, and even made our couple rings. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. Perfect for honeymooners!
