I open the doors of my house, a space with fires and armed iron to cook and enjoy a great experience. We begin by sharing a homemade appetizer that includes traditional preserves and homemade breads as a welcome, while learning about the history of Argentine cuisine. Then we put our hands in the dough! We all cook together and not only learn traditional recipes but also their history and origin. Finally, following the customs and traditions of our country, we sat at the table to share everything cooked in an intimate atmosphere and accompanied by selected wines.

Wonderfully authentic ambiance, sustenance and libation. The meal was well prepared by Miguel in a charming setting of a clay outdoor oven. Each course was better than the previous. With the main dish meat being the best I’ve had my trip through Argentina 😋 Miguel is a hospitable, charming, and talented chef/host that creates a feeling of a dinner with family. ❤️ This was the kind of meal that is remembered in dreams. Thanks so much Miguel 🙏

Miguel and Eduardo provided a warm welcome from the outset. The food and wine flowed. I think that the trip advisor description needs to be updated - the mixing is with other guests, not the food. There is no actual cooking or history of Argentinian food. But still a really good evening.

Wonderful evening with Miguel and Eduardo! There were so many thoughtful touches including cozy blankets, special drinks, appetizers down to a delicious dessert. It was our last night in Argentina and I don’t think there was a better way to spend it. So much more than a meal, truly an experience.

This experience was absolutely fabulous. The food was sublime from Empanada to Guanaco to barbecue beetroot and pineapple and everything in between. The company of everyone was marvellous. Thank you for such a positive food experience we will never forget.

Had a great evening with Chef Miguel full of great food and conversation. This is a must do experience when you visit El Calafate to have authentic cuisine and learn about Argentinean culture. 10/10
