We’ll depart early from El Calafate for an 80 km scenic drive to the walkways facing the glacier. Stroll along paths and stairs connecting multiple viewpoints, each offering a unique perspective of this majestic ice giant. Want to take it to the next level?
Add an optional one-hour boat ride on Lake Argentino’s Rico Branch, sailing just 150 meters from the glacier’s south face — an unforgettable experience!

Perito Moreno Glacier
The best known and most impressive glacier in Los Glaciares National Park. This glacier shows a surprising and curious phenomenon, in which its great mass of ice continuously advances, causing the accumulation, rupture and detachment of gigantic blocks of ice on its 5 km wide front, located on the Canal de los Témpanos; that's where the numerous ice fragments of the glacier sail. The front of the glacier exceeds 60 meters above the water at its maximum height, from where pieces of various sizes fall continuously, producing a stridency comparable to the sound of thunder.

Upon reaching the Perito Moreno Glacier, we will cross the walkways that have balconies at different levels and angles connected by paths and stairways which can be covered in its entirety during the excursion and thus we will be able to appreciate this impressive and wonderful glacier from different points.

5.00The Perito Moreno Glacier Full Day Tour was a stunning, breathtaking, and truly amazing adventure from start to finish. The optional navigation was absolutely worth it — being on the water brought us close enough to practically feel the cold radiating off the ice. There was plenty of time on the boat for endless photo opportunities, each angle more impressive than the last. Back on land, the maze of walkways above the glacier offered even more spectacular views. We had more than enough time to wander, take in the incredible scenery, and capture countless fabulous photos. If you’re patient, set up your camera on the walkways, switch to video, sit back, and relax — you might even catch the glacier calving as a massive chunk of ice crashes into the lake with an echoing bang! Our guide Sissi was kind, very informative, and made the full-day experience even more enjoyable. An unforgettable adventure and a must-do for anyone visiting the area.

5.00Stunning experience with unique views. The walkways have several options according to their degree of difficulty making the destination suitable for all types of public. Navigation brings you closer to the glacier giving you a totally different perspective than seen on the walkways

5.00It is simply spectacular this glacier. An experience for a lifetime! We would have liked more time to travel the trails, but we still enjoyed it a lot. We recommend lunch in the park restaurant, the service was excellent and they attend fast.

5.00It's impossible to imagine visiting El Calafate and not seeing the Glacier and paying for the hour long boat trip. The tour was worth it and Alejandra was excellent as the guide, patient, informative and relaxed. We had plenty of time, 2 hours, after the cruise to explore the Glacier from the walkways including getting something to eat at the crowded Cafe. Even if the weather is less than perfect (we had low cloud and occasional light rain) the Glacier and the surrounding scenery is magnificent. The walkways are easy to navigate and much of it is wheelchair accessible. The beautiful scenery is from start to finish with snow-capped mountains visible, small icebergs in the lake and through small forests. Park tickets can be paid for by card or cash at the entrance to the park. While we didn’t have to show any ID it's recommended to have at least a photo of your passport bio page.

5.00Tour was well organized - the vehicle was comfortable. The guide Ineas was friendly, knowledgable. The Views and boat tour - something that cannot be expressed -you have to see / experience in person especially if you have not seen a glacier before.

5.00Very well organized with tour co. GPS and Martín as our guide and driver Claudio. Communication was very effective as to pick up and the bus was on time. On our way, Martín talked about the glacier and its history. A Very well informed and cheerful guide, Martín told us how to maximize our time in Perito Moreno, which trails, what boat, etc. Martín speaks English very well; our tour was in Spanish and English. The tour went beyond our expectations. Highly recommend this tour company and guide.
