Experience the beauty of the Sicilian countryside through a timeless sensory journey. Francesco, winemaker and olive oil producer will guide you through the artisanal production of extra virgin olive during an immersive walk in the olive grove in Balestrate. After the tour, we'll enjoy a tasting session featuring our wines, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegars, and limoncello accompanied by a selection of traditional Sicilian dishes. The tasting will take place in a typical Sicilian house with Francesco's grandparents in attendance, sharing stories of this enchanting part of Sicily.

5.00Excellent tour and tasting with a small group hosted by the proprietor. Francesco was clearly passionate about his business and the products they are producing. Includes an amazing lunch in a private home setting.

5.00We took this tour of the olive groves and then did an olive oil, balsamic vinegar, wine and limoncello tasting. All we can say is that it was fantastic! Francesco was great. He’s studied agriculture and oeneology(wne making) and it shows. He presents a very informative tour (and is multi-lingual too) and answered all our questions about olives and wine. We then were literally welcomed into his grandparents home by Francesco’s grandmother and grandfather for a tasting of all of Essensily’s Sicilian made products. It was like sitting down for Sunday dinner with family. As we tasted each product, we feasted on complimentary foods; bread and cheese with the olive oil, caponata, sun dried tomatoes and olives. Everything is delicious! The wines are great. The balsamic vinegar and glaze, perfect. And the limoncello, served chilled and in chilled glasses was the crowning jewel. This tour and tasting was well worth it and highly recommended.

5.00This is a wonderful 2 part experience, the first part is a tour of the owner's olive grove BY the owner, Francesco, and the second part is an olive oil and wine tasting of Essensily's products in Francesco's grandparents' house. Truly intimate and incredible experience.

5.00The olive grove tour was informative and fun and off the beaten path. Francesco was an engaging host. The lunch we had at his grandparent’s home was a special treat. We got to taste the olive oil which is quite good. We also tasted 2 types of balsamic vinegar that they produce. There were 3 wines 2 white and 1 red that were of good quality as well. Lastly we finished with a delicious limoncello. It was a delightful afternoon and a great experience of the Sicilian culture. I would highly recommend this tour it is such a special and unique day

5.00Francesco was very informative and interesting. A very clear history and the process of the olives to olive oil. The choice of food delicious. Nona was very proud of her grandson. All the tastings were given with a full explanation to get the best experience.

5.00This was a fun tour. Francesco met us at the designated meeting place and took us to their olive grove. He explained about olive trees and how they produce and the process of making oil. Then we went to his grandparents' home where we tasted olive oil and wine over lunch. It was a great experience
