As it is a Catholic church, discreet clothing is mandatory, access may be restricted if the clothing does not meet the requirements.
For safety reasons, children younger than 6 cannot go up the towers and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
For safety reasons, people with reduced mobility and those whose ability to move around or interact with their surroundings autonomously and safely is limited by any sort of visual impairment may not visit the towers.
Please note that to go up the tower you will use an elevator but to go down you will need to use the stairs.
The lifts in the towers will be closed in adverse weather conditions including strong winds and/or rain.
The tour is a shared tour, you will be sharing one tour guide and will have radio microphone/earphones to hear the guide better

Start the tour from the corner of the Street Marina with Street Mallorca. 3.00The good part is that you get to skip the line and get a nice guided tour. The bad part is that you paid too much, but unfortunately the tickets available directly through the Sagrada Familia website sell way too fast, leaving you with this kind of aftermarket markup that reflects the real demand to see the place, but unfortunately feels awful to pay for. Is IBE just scalping the tickets? No, probably not. I think there is some kind of deal where companies register to be tour guides and are allowed to bring in a certain number of people at the price of their choice. Viator is just an intermediary in all of this. Due to rain we were unable to go up the tower. Unfortunate, but the guide did suggest a partial refund would occur. Waiting on viator to see if that happens or if they just keep the difference. As for Sagrada Familia, of course it's beautiful and worth seeing if you can.

5.00I was very excited to do this tour becase as a spaniard, I have seen la Sagrada Familia from the outside plenty of times but never inside. Before we took this tour, I called IBE tours twice and they were very helpful answering my questions. Even though the weather wasn't great, rainy and windy, we really enjoyed this tour. The meeting point was very easy to find just across La Sagrada Familia. This tour was worth the price. It was even better than expected. I was impressed by Gaudi as a genius architect. We also visited the school on our own. It's a small school building build in 1905 for the children of the workers building the Sagrada Família, although other children of the neighborhood attended, especially from the underprivileged classes. We learned plenty from our guide Carlos, who was very knowledgeable. His English was perfect and easy to understand. I recommend this tour and I hope you get Carlos.

5.00Rosa was a phenomenal guide. So full of knowledge but also passion and pride for the Sagrada Familia. The tour of the basilica is only about 1-1.5 hrs and the tower is done at your pace. Do not recommend the tower if you do not like confined spaces.

5.00Truly the most beautiful building I have ever seen, I side and out. However, we got there 45 minutes after our ticket was set for - we knew it was a stretch that we would be able to get in but our hopes were high - the man checking the tickets looked at them and told us to go talk to one of the ladies (I’m not quite sure what her job was or of her name). We got over there, my dad showed her the ticket and she apologized and explained why she would not be able to let us in. It was very heart breaking to hear but these things happen - we will hopefully be able to come back someday. Something that caught my attention when the *very kind* lady was explaining the tickets to us though was her co-worker. A blonde woman, maybe 25 at oldest. She was talking to a third women - equal in age - in Spanish, assuming we couldn’t understand. She said “¡Qué americano más tonto y gordo! ¿No sabe decir la hora?” - “What a dumb fat American! Can he not tell time?” then scoffed and chuckled to herself. While it was a silly and avoidable mistake that cost us our entry, I still found the whole ordeal quite rude and disrespectful. She just assumed we didn’t speak Spanish when it was only my father that had spoken a single word.
