5.00We had a great time at both the Batu Caves and Elephant Sanctuary. One thing to note is that the Elephant Sanctuary is cash only - this includes the cafe so please make sure you bring cash! But it was great to get up close with the monkeys and then the elephants. Our driver was knowledgeable and really wanted to make sure we had a great time.

5.00Batu caves are very touristy and crowded, didn't think it could be seen as a sacred place because of this but was reassured by local people that it very much is. Worth seeing just be prepared for crowds. The elephant sanctuary was magical. Complete contrast in thar there was no one there. The elephants are beautiful and very well looked after. Being able to feed and interact with them was amazing. And being able to get close to them bathing in the river was a real bucket list moment
