Your adventure begins with pick up directly from your hotel in downtown Halifax before heading out toward Peggy’s Cove.
Along the way, your guide will share fun facts and tips about the area. Once you arrive at Peggy’s Cove, you’ll have the opportunity to take a picture with the most photographed lighthouse in Canada - the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse (also known as Peggy’s Point Lighthouse).
After your visit to Peggy’s Cove, your guide will bring you back to Halifax to visit historic Citadel Hill.
Following your visit to Citadel Hill, your guide will take you on a narrated driving tour of downtown Halifax where you will pass by some of the city’s most notable points of interest including: the Titanic cemetery (Fairview Lawn Cemetery), City Gardens, Pier 21, Halifax Farmers Market and Point Pleasant Park.
At the end of your Halifax tour, your guide will drop you back off at your hotel.

Peggy's Cove Lighthouse
Your adventurous day begins with a scenic drive to Peggy’s Cove. Located just under an hour’s drive away from Halifax, Peggy’s Cove is a picturesque fishing village with plenty to see and do. While driving up to Peggy’s Cove, your guide will point out notable sights, landmark, and scenic views. Upon arrival at Peggy’s Cove you will be given plenty of free time in which you can explore the area around the historical lighthouse, stroll along the ocean looking for tidal pools, head into the village to watch the fishermen come and go, or go shopping in one of the small boutiques and shops.
Halifax Citadel National Historic Site
you will stop at Citadel Hill where a living historical guide will be waiting to take you on an amazing tour. Throughout the tour you will explore prison cells and alleyways that date back to 1745. At the end of the tour you will watch the daily noon cannon fire.

5.00Nash was an excellent guide and very personable. The trip to Peggy's Cove was amazing. The only downside is that Viator communicated a day before that booster seats were required for one of my kids while we were already on vacation. I was able to rent one at the last minute for $65. Overall the trip was fantastic.
Too short at locations, missed the canon going off and van too small for 7 adults

2.00First let me say the tour guide was knowledgeable about the info she was talking about. We know these tours are just a touch of what is available and we won’t have full experience of each location. That being said. We booked this tour. My husband and myself and my sister and brother in law. (They booked separate confirmation than ours). We were early to the meeting time which is always good. However they couldn’t find my sister in laws confirmation even though she had the ticket in hand and the confirmation booking email. The 2 diff guides had to call main office to straighten things out. The delayed our trip by approx 30 min. We then find out the there will be not just us 4 and the driver but 2 more full size adults in a small mini van. Apparently the suv try usually use was broken down so they rented this small vehicle. It was very cramped in the back seat of the van with 3 adults there. We couldn’t even buckle seat belts. Then the highlight of our tour was to be at the citadel before noon so we could watch the cannon go off. Well nope we missed it by about 5 minutes. Didn’t even hear it on the drive up the hill. Very disappointing as this is why we booked the tour for this time slot. The advertisement stated we would see the cannon going off. Also fyi driving almost an hour to Peggy’s cove and only getting 30 min to walk around is too short. You need to lengthen the trip. And Could have done without the titanic cemetery. Maybe if we skipped it and came back after the citadel we would have seen the cannon. Overall ok day but could have been better if we were on time and had more time by the lighthouse.

4.00Nice tour! Informative but Needs more time at Peggy’s cove instead of the citadel. The couple that was with us agreed and we were dropped off at the gardens and explored town a little more.

4.00Our guide was very knowledgeable and didn't rush us. We saw everything that was scheduled. Weather was perfect. One issue that kept our rating a 4 was the cramped space. There were 6 adults some large some small, some tall some with knee issues. The vehicle was 6 passenger but not appropriate for the 6 of us.
