  Actually it is a booze idea to visit a city in the cold January - but it was still nice by the hop-on hop-off bus. The staff was really friendly and open-minded, the buses pleasantly warm and just not so crowded at this time of year. The information to be heard was pleasantly entertaining, should have been a bit more detailed at times. Currywurst at Brandenburg Gate is a fun extra.

  When arriving in a large city for the first time, we like to get on a hop-on-hop-off bus to get our bearings and explore the landmarks. It's never cheap, there is always a choice of operators and the result varies. At a cost of AUD$ 122, we had bought a 2-day pass through GetYourGuide, but because of a train delay, we had only a few hours left when we arrived. So we hopped on the first available, and got off at the famous East Side Gallery section of the Berlin Wall. The bus driver told us he would wait for 15 minutes, then continue - we watched him drive away after exactly 11 minutes . . . We waited at the stop for the next one for more than an hour, but it never showed. We took a taxi back to our hotel. The next day we took the other line (red ?) that does the more popular stops. The buses were absolutely jam-packed.

  Started off so well, and ended so poorly. The tour audio was very detailed and nice, but as soon as we hopped off it was horrible to get back on. We waited multiple hours and at many different pickup locations and each time the bus just kept on driving. We used the app to follow the time for pickup and locations and that truly didn’t help a thing. Complete waste of money!! Would not recommend. We ended up finding our own way around without the buses. The people in the shop were no help either.

  Great way to see all the main sights of Berlin. We just used it to get around on one of our days, longest had to wait for a bus was 10 minutes. Recommend downloading the app as it's brilliant as you can see where the buses are live on your route

  Overheated bus, really uncomfortable! In the audio guide constantly asynchronous to the position of the bus, often we were already past the sight. Occasionally, the post was simply canceled. Long service lives of 15 minutes or more.

  The hop on and off bus tour was excellent, regular buses and very informative. The price also included a currywurst which we enjoyed and a walking tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour and the guide Konrad was very knowledgeable and was good fun. Overall thoroughly enjoyable and excellent value for money.

  It was a great experience. Got to see all the historic and important site seeing places in Berlin with good information commentary. Bus was comfortable and staff was friendly. You can hop off at sites that you are interested and visit them and hop back on in 30 minutes on the next bus.
