The guide or driver carries tickets in advance, so they will not line up to make the purchase. It will tell them the entrance, request the audio guides for people who want to use it.

You can walk through the Main Square in Zipaquirá, you will know a very nice town and there you will have lunch, in one of the typical restaurants that the driver or guide tells you.

Salt Cathedral is awesome. Definitely worth seeing.

4.00The tour guide Christhiam provided door to door pickup and drop-off service. He was informative during the drive up to the Salt Cathedral, and answered any questions while inside the mine. The tour does not include the cost of entry into the mine or lunch. Those will need to be paid for separately. The Salt Cathedral is unique, but I think the significance will vary based on how religious the guest is. The workmanship of the workers that created the various scenes, is worth seeing. After the Salt Cathedral, the tour also goes into the nearby town where you have the opportunity to get some souvenirs. The local restaurant that we went to for lunch was really good.

3.00Stopped at a souvenir shop for well over 30 minutes which I was not aware of before the tour. Taken to lunch at a restaurant of the tour guide’s choice even though it was not included in the price. I opted out and ate on my own as I had read it was overpriced. The guide was nice but did not speak English. Had to wait 40 minutes after touring the Salt Cathedral for other members of the group before leaving.

5.00I had a fabulous day trip to Zipaquira Salt Cathedral. It was a small intimate group...only 4 of us. Our multi-lingual guide was amazing! After that Salt Cathedral we had lunch in Zipaquira town and wandered around a bit before returning to Bogota. Highly recommended...good value for money.
Visit to the cathedral of salt in zipaquira and to the arrededodes of the square very nice landscape and very nice people 10/10..

2.00Cristian was very kind. Unfortunately we would not recommend this tour. Overall this was more transportation than an actual tour. The Salt Cathedral was wonderful and is absolutely worth seeing. After the cathedral we drove to one single shop for souvenirs, drove around one small plaza, and stopped to eat at a restaurant (which was delicious). We did not get to explore the town at all. I did not find value in this tour as you paid for entry into the cathedral separately, had an audio tour, and bought your own lunch (all of which we knew before hand) so the cost was very high for just transportation.
The best tour we had.
