Catedral De Sal
We will begin our adventure in the majestic Cathedral of Salt of Zipaquirá. Built inside a former salt mine, this underground cathedral is a masterpiece of religious architecture and a symbol of the Catholic faith. We will tour its different seasons and tell you the story of its construction.
Museo de la Sal
Before entering the cathedral, we will visit the Salt Museum, where we will learn about the salt extraction process and its importance in the economy of the region. We can see old tools and objects made of salt.

5.00Sebastian speak very fluent English, has rich knowledge of the nature and history, he tells you the ancient history of the places, the different plants, very good trip. The weather is changeable in the mountain area, better to choose a day with good weather, we experienced rain unfortunately

5.00This is an excellent pair of tours to two unique places, the Guatavita Lagoon and rhe Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral. Tour guide Sebastian was friendly and knowledgeable in both English and Spanish. Great communication via WhatsApp from the company about logistics. It's a good activity for solo travelers.

5.00We had a very nice experience. Sergio was our guide and Fabian the driver. They went through us very punctual. We were 5 people in our group, two of whom spoke English and Sergio handled it in a way that practically everyone felt attuned to. The van they passed us in was very clean and Fabian tried to keep it that way at every stop. The lagoon is beautiful and the tour was very enjoyable. At the Cathedral of Salt you are given enough time to get to know it and we even had time to shop! We would definitely take a tour with them again.

5.00This was an excellent tour. I signed up literally 12 hours before departure and got a confirmation in like an hour. They picked me up right at my Airbnb unlike some other tours that make you travel to some meetup location. Transportation was smooth and comfortable. Sebastian gave a great tour of the Zipaquira area and lagoon and was super attentive to everyone in the group to ensure we were all doing well and having a good time. Lunch was great and the salt mine was very cool to check out. We had 2 hours to explore it which was a bit short and had to rush a bit at the end - another 30 minutes to really take your time and enjoy the experience would be good. Still, Sebastian waited patiently while everyone in the group finished to head out and returned us all safely to exactly where we needed to go. Can't recommend enough!

5.00Experience fully recommended. The lagoon was everything and the scenery never spoke. The salt cathedral was the maximum exceeded all my experiences, and our guide was the maximum made the whole trip fun!!

4.00Sebastian the tour guide was excellent. He took his time with me and got me to the top at Guadavita despite me being so out of shape. My “critique” is that the trip takes about 12 hours. That’s not a criticism of the trip. Just that it’s listed as being an 8 hour trip. That’s is not accurate. And so if you are making plans for that night, make them based on the trip taking 12 hours. Not 8.

5.00We had a fabulous tour with Sebastian. He told us so much information about the local culture and the areas we were seeing, always let us know what was going on and was attentive to our needs. Fabian our driver was amazing too. Driving in Bogota traffic is no joke but he made it seem easy. This tour was definitely a great way to spend the day. Would highly recommend
