Catedral De Sal

We will begin our adventure in the majestic Cathedral of Salt of Zipaquirá. Built inside a former salt mine, this underground cathedral is a masterpiece of religious architecture and a symbol of the Catholic faith. We will tour its different seasons and tell you the story of its construction.

Before entering the cathedral, we will visit the Salt Museum, where we will learn about the salt extraction process and its importance in the economy of the region. We can see old tools and objects made of salt.

The tour was a great combination of outdoor activity, culture and history. The tour guide was really knowledgeable and friendly - and also very accommodating. It was a long day but definitely worthwhile. Would highly recommend!

I had a great time with Diego and Andres. Diego was a great host and shared his knowledge and passion about Bogotá. The trip to the lagoon and Salt Cathedral were incredible as well.
