A classic walking tour through the streets of the city centre. With this guided tour you will discover the history of Bologna and its main cultural attractions. The Old Point of Sale area, the so-called Quadrilateral, the statue of Neptune and the Basilica of San Petronio are just some of the stops on this wonderful tour.
For those who purchase the option with the Archiginnasio tour, the visit will be carried out in the afternoon, while the group tour of the city of Bologna remains departing in the morning. Availability permitting, if you have special time requirements please specify in the requests which slot you prefer (14 : 10 or 17 : 00).

3.00Saw much of the old center of Bologna and a lot of information in a condensed time frame. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable, however he spoke much too fast and his accent made it more difficult to understand unfortunately. So we got less out of the tour than we would have liked. Maybe others could understand better.

If you want a walking tour without walking, this is the tour for you. Otherwise, steer clear. It is a waste of your time

1.00This “walking tour” didn’t leave the Piazza where we met. We had only an afternoon in Bologna and we thought that a walking tour would be the best way to see the historic city center. Instead, we signed up for a tour advertised as a 2 hour walking tour and stood for 2 hours as our guide lectured us on art history. We did get to see the cathedral but there was no charge or lines. We could have entered and seen the inside independently in 15-20 minutes versus nearly the one hour he insisted on spending in that venue; half of our tour.
