  This tour was a great introduction to a lovely city. If you want the history of the city and landmarks this might not be the right tour, but if you want to know about the culture and taste in the delights of the region look no further! Our tour guide Ilaria was lovely! She was enthusiastic and shared information and experiences while answering all of our questions. She also gave us tips and recommendations for the rest of our time in Bologna, which we took and were so happy we did!

  We had a great time with our guide Ilaria. It is typically a group tour but we were the only ones to book so it was just us. The tour was excellent and we had great conversation and got fantastic insight into the city from our guide. She also provided us with recomendations for our following travels and Italy and was flexible with our limited timing. Absolutely would recommend.

  Ilaria was a knowledgeable and friendly guide and the company was great to accommodate us as our train was delayed over an hour and we had planned to arrive quite early. Ilaria fit in everything she could, we tried some great food and learned a lot about the city and its people. Highly recommend

  It was a good experience. The tour guide was very knowledgable on the food and was very pleasant. There is an Opportunity to talk more of the history of the city as we do the foodie tour. That would have been greatly valued!

  Ilaria was a fantastic guide!! It was like having an Italian friend showing you the sites around Bologna. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and personable, making our tour an extremely enjoyable experience. The mortadella sandwich and white wine was so fresh and tasty! Followed by a lovely tagliatelle ragu which was delicious. And we finished the tour with a nice creamy gelato! We strolled around the streets which was nice compared to other tours that we have done where they felt rushed. Thank you so much Ilaria for sharing this experience with us.
