This Bordeaux Super Saver takes you on a full-day wine tour to Médoc and St-Emilion. With your expert guide visit prestigious classified-growth châteaux and charming family-run wine estates for guided tours of the vineyards, vat rooms and cellars, followed by wine tastings. You’ll learn all about Bordeaux wine, winemaking and proper tasting tips as you savor a variety of wines. Break up your tastings with a lovely picnic lunch at the chateau in St-Emilion.
1/ 10.00am : Visit Growth Classified 1855 Medoc Château
2/ 12.30pm : Presentation & tasting of Growth Classified Château St Emilion
3/ 01.15pm : Pic nic lunch in the same château
4/ 02.00pm : visit & tasting family run winery
5/ 03.15pm : Visit village of Saint Emilion
6/ 05.30pm: Back in Bordeaux

5.00When first time in Bordeaux i would recommend this or similar winery tours to travellers as there is so much to explore and learn about wines and wineries. This tour was very enjoyable alongwith my family . I liked about the tour was inspite of being a vegeterian we did have good food for lunch 👍.

5.00We spent a full day traveling to three different wineries, including spending time in the historical village of St. Emillion. The start time (9am) was perfect, not too early, and we were back by 5:30pm. It was a full day, and everything to expect was explained fully to us by our guide, Fabien. Fabien is an amazing guide, personable, polite, and charming, and he delighted us with interesting stories of the history of the region. Also, he is a very good driver. We had a picnic lunch at a beautiful chateau where the house and grounds are incredibly beautiful and peaceful. Much birdsong, the smell of grass and fresh air made this a perfect day. Walking with Fabien through St. Emillion was such a wonderful experience, too, as he pointed out small gems throughout the village to us, which made the experience far more rich than if we had walked through town by ourselves. The food and wine were delicious, and the host at each winery was warm and welcoming. Not to forget, the drive to each winery is smoothe, and includes lovely views of the countryside. We highly recommend this tour as a bright spot during your visit to Bordeaux. Much gratitude to Fabien from the Macalusos! Merci!

5.00We had the most awesome guide, Remi to take us round the area. He was exceptionally educated on several subjects, very entertaining and a great host. He went out of his way to facilitate everyone and took the extra mile to get us that last "top-up" to our wine. Wonderful day, safely traveled, thoroughly enjoyed.
