The Battle of Bannockburn Experience
Your first stop is The Battle of Bannockburn Visitor Centre is a state of the art experience where you can totally immerse yourself in a 3D medieval battle. Watch as the horses gallop towards you and try to dodge the arrows as they come rushing through the air before your eyes. The visitor centre is one of Scotland’s top attractions. Located on the site where Robert the Bruce Scotland’s great warrior King raised his standard & assembled the Scottish Army in preperation for the Battle of Bannockburn, where he would face down the English Army led by Edward II
Stirling Castle
Travel on to the mighty Stirling Castle – the reason why so many battles took place around here was in order to hold the strategic importance of Stirling, which overlooked the lowest bridging point across the River Forth. From the battlements, follow the gaze of King Robert Bruce himself as his statue looks towards Bannockburn, the site of his most famous victory. Savour the imposing Wallace Monument as it stands out against the scenic Ochil Hills.

5.00William was great. Doune was closed but we went to the FalkirkWheel and the Forth Bridge instead. Sterling castle had stunning views and we actually preferred it to Edinburgh castle. The Bannockburn experience had a great guide and was very informative.
William Wallace Day... WELL WORTH IT!! - Brian is the BEST!

5.00Our family spent an amazing day with Brian. He was very knowledgeable and gave us exactly what we wanted in our "William Wallace Day" and then some. It was an awesome day but Brian it made it even better! This is well worth the cost!

5.00Peter wad an unbelievably great tour guide. He tailored our day to what we wanted to see and where we wanted to spend the most time at. He took us through each of the sites we visited and gave us a ton of great information. He was very informative. Peter made this the best tour that we took during our entire time in Scotland!!!

5.00Brian was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable and accommodated what we wanted to see and allowed us to stay as long as we wanted too. Also took us as close as possible to our Airbnb which was not easy as the Royal Mile was still closed to the Queens death.

5.00Our family had a wonderful day touring Stirling Castle and the William Wallace Monument. Our guide, Brian, was a fabulous host and guide. The private tour allowed us flexibility we would not have in a group tour. We would absolutely recommend!
