Our Wildlife Safari takes you to three different habitats near Byron Bay. You’ll visit eucalyptus forest, rainforest and grassland to discover the animals that live there.
We guarantee you’ll see a koala or two, a mob of kangaroo, and many species of bird. If conditions are right you may also see pademelon, echidna, tawny frogmouth and water dragons. Along the way you will be amazed at the abundant birdlife.
On this tour we travel to where the animals live so it involves a bit of driving. We start with a 45-minute drive to our first stop and end the day with a 1-hour drive back to Byron Bay. In between there are short drives and walks.

If conditions are right you may also see pademelon, echidna, tawny frogmouth and water dragons. You will travel in our comfy eight-seater 4WD with an environmental scientist as your guide. For lunch? A picnic of locally-sourced goodness. We are an award winning eco-tour company and we are passionate about what we do. As with all our eco-tours, it is our goal to observe but not disturb the wildlife. If you want to feed or pat the wildlife, this is not the tour for you.

4.00Such a lovely day out to see the beautiful aussie animals in their natural habitats. Our guide, Tom, was so knowledgable and had an answer for anything we asked regarding the animals! You could truly tell he was doing the tour for the animals and environment. It made my experience by seeing the koala joeys. The lunch provided was very good and was had at a lovely spot. Tom was prepared and had binoculars for everyone to get the best experience. A bonus to this as well was the fact the company plant trees in order to give back to the wilderness. So by doing this tour you are technically donating to charity too. I highly recommend this experience if you are staying in Byron Bay.

5.00Very good tour! We got to see koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and flying foxes in their natural habitat. We also saw lots of birds. The tour guide was very good and gave us lots of extra information, we really enjoyed it.

5.00Tom is a brilliant host, as well as being a knowledgeable and passionate naturalist. This was such a great small-group wildlife tour, getting up close to awesome native species while respecting the space that these wild animals need. Strongly recommend for those that are looking for special encounters with Australia's unique wildlife.

5.00Our tour with Wendy was great. We saw everything advertised and more. It was so refreshing seeing the wildlife in its natural setting as opposed to zoos and private refuges. Lunch was very good as well. But, the best part was Wendy's enthusiasm and knowledge. We learned so much. Thanks Wendy!!!

5.00Tourguide with a lot of knowledge, we saw a lot of animals in their wild habitat and that is amazing. Lovely, healthy and royal lunch. It was a lovely day in nature and would definitely recommend it!

5.00Absolutely brilliant day with amazingly knowledgable, super smart and great fun founder and guide Wendy. I lived for years in Australia in the past but wanted to reconnect to nature and learn more...Wendy and the whole day delivered in spades. Great spotting in secret locations of all sorts of beautiful Aussie animals I'd never seen in the wild before...don't miss this tour!!

5.00The tour was amazing! We saw many koalas and a lot of kangaroos as well as bats. The lunch was also really nice. Our guide, Tom, was very nice and we had a lot of lovely chats. Would definitely recommend this tour!
