Our most popular tour! Enjoy a full-day, self-guided biking tour (choose e-bikes or standard bikes) to some of the regions finest wineries to enjoy wine tasting galore. We take you (and your bike) at 10am out to Havelock North to the starting point of your journey at Black Barn Vineyard. This trail cycles past 6-7 award-winning wineries along a 16km stretch of easy and scenic cycle pathways.

Meet our van at the last winery at the stunning Cape Kidnappers for a 4pm transfer back to the start. A truly memorable experience enjoying the best wineries of Hawke's Bay on a bike!

At the time of booking please advise your height so we can allocate the correct sized bikes for you.

NOTE: tour starts with a 10am shuttle from our base in Napier to the first winery and a 4pm shuttle from the last winery back to Napier.

Opening hours at wineries vary, we will advise you where possible

Please note that wineries charge for tastings (this is not included). The charge is around NZ$10-20 per person and is usually rebated against any purchases

Highly recommend: Gorgeous route, clearly marked signs, protected path (away from cars) the entire route, and good communication from the company. We booked the E-bikes and it made this a breeze for multiple fitness levels! If you’re not fit, it’s okay, you can still do & *enjoy* it with their pedal assist e-bikes. NOTE: 1) the wineries listed on the viator itinerary are outdated. (See below) 2) you need to book some of them in advance. Not all are open 7 days a week. They will text you the night before w which are open, but you can find this on google to book in advance to get preferred times. 3) go to Craggy Range, especially if on e-bike. The view/ scenery is STUNNING and the elevation change to/from is minimal and very doable on e-bike. It was such a fun day with great staff. Relatively easy on the e-bikes. Only thing I didn’t realise is that you don’t have time to go to every winery. Highly recommend Askerne for lunch.

What a fantastic tour!! This was the best day we had Ebiking around Napier from one winery to the next. The company was super responsive and helpful making the trip a great experience. Highly recommend this tour!

Very helpful and informative staff got us on our way. Great route with plenty of photo opportunities. The wine tasting at Askerne was good fun with snacks.

Great day out! Must do if you’re in the region & willing and able. E-bike option makes it easy! We bought wine and just put it in the little bags on the bike which were fine. Only thing to note is that some wineries were already in Winter mode in May (either shut or opening later) so keep that in mind!
