Not far from Marina Grande beach in Capri, you'll find a small coastline embraced by cliffs and kissed by the sun, known over time as the Bagni di Tiberio. In fact, hundreds of years ago, Roman emperors Augustus and later Tiberius used to bathe here during the summer, when they relocated to the seaside villa that still stands on the coast a few steps from the establishment.

1.00The actual experience was great. However, when we got off the boat to go to Capri, all of our belongings were moved. We were told they were put in a bag and that we brought them onto the island (which we did not). At first, it seemed like the bag could have been thrown out accidentally or given to another party, which would have honestly been fine. But saying we brought it with us when we clearly didn’t raised a red flag. I raised this complaint to the owner, and hoped for a better response but I was told he’d sue me and take me to court. Again, the actual experience this tour gave was great. I’m sure they have their fair share of people who complain to complain, but this was actually an insane response. The items of my bag was only ~$75 so a simply apology was the only thing expected, as I was not looking for a free trip, especially after spending much, much more money on my overall trip. Don’t get into hospitality, customer service oriented jobs if you threaten to sue people when your staff misplaced or stole items.

5.00My family and I were picked up at the port in Salerno by Antonio and Ortiz and from the start they made the day amazing. They took us to every gratto on the list and gave us plenty of time to take pictures and swim in the beautiful waters. Ortiz pointed out all the towns and important sites of the Amalfi coast. They brought us to Capri where we spent a couple of hours on our own and enjoyed the beach on the island. Food and drinks were good as well.
